I am very pleased with the service I received from MacGregor. Since my wife and I are seasonal residents of Charlevoix it was important to us that we get an operating unit in place while we could still use it this season. I appreciate the extra mile that MacGregor went in getting us a timely replacement. As always, the on-site service and phone representatives at MacGregor were very customer oriented. Kevin and Noah came to install a gas line for my new range. They were so friendly and polite while doing their installation. They notice my hot water heating was on it's last leg and suggested the new marathon electric water heater and explained everything about it and the installation of the water heater. Kevin also called the office to find out the rebate and total cost for us, this helped tremendously in making our decision to go with the new marathon electric water heater. Oh and the most important thing was they were on time and done in a timely manner. MacGregor plumbing & heating it's the only company we well ever work with. There is nothing more to say other than Harry was the absolute consummate professional with my install. Harry came in and looked at my 27 year old system and then gave me several choices of systems to install. I then asked him if it was his house, and his money, and he could afford it, what would he install? Harry never hesitated. He did not try to burn me with the most expensive unit but instead he sold me the unit that would be a little overkill --- I am a retired engineer and over-engineering is something I truly believe in, but Harry guided me through the process of heat loss, heat pumps (of which I know NOTHING), and was extremely helpful the entire time with my ignorance of heating systems. Harry not only sold me a GREAT system (we LOVE the Central Air....) but he came in within his budget, on time, and with a minimum of disruption to my family and household. Macgregors men also left my house cleaner than it was when they started. Macgregors is not the cheapest game in town, but they are the BEST and they ALWAYS stand behind their work. This is the second system Harry and Macgregors have installed for my family (they took care of my mothers Geothermal system a couple of years ago...) and the only thing I have to say is that you get what you pay for and with Macgregors what you will pay is worth every single dime!
