So pleased with David's and scheduling service these past two weeks.
However, we are not so happy about the nonchalant diagnosis of the water bladder issue for 2+ years when we were advised it was not urgent, did not require immediate attention and we could deal with it at our convenience. David reported that the pump was working continuously and suggested we contact Lutrell. Had this been observed sooner, the pump might have lasted longer. 07/30/16 |

Julie, Just want to tell you how thankful we are for the new A/C. I especially want to comment on Harry and Josh, who were both very professional and comfortable to work with. I felt like we were in EXCELLENT hands from the very beginning of the installation (read investment) until the actual installation of HVAC system. Harry P reviewed our choices thoroughly and Josh T made sure the system was installed without incident. Josh T was meticulous in keeping surrounding areas free of debris and safe enough for my big dog to wonder the yard. Josh and Jason completed the job in the prescribed amount of time and did an excellent job explaining how the new system works. The MacGregor Plumbing & Heating Team were outstanding to work with. They got me the best price with rebates from manufacturer, gas company and electric company for a gas heating installation and did it in less than a week from start to finish.Technicians Joe W. and Josh T. did the pull out of the old system and install of the new system with care in a difficult installation in a tight confined area. I'm very happy with the results of the installation and the new gas furnace and their attention to detail to make it look outstanding. I would definitely recommend MacGregor for all future work.

Joe H., MacGregor service technician, has done work at our cottage on multiple occasions. He is always prompt, courteous, and does great work. His last visit was to disconnect and reconnect our kitchen plumbing after placement of our new countertop and sink, including reworking the connections and installing a new disposal, as well as hooking up the ice maker on our new refrigerator. He came early in the day before the new sink was installed and returned later to finish the job. Great service! Did a fantastic job! 02/21/16 |

We recently did a kitchen remodel at our cottage in Harbor Springs, involving replacing all the appliances (including replacing an old electric stove with a new gas model) and a new quartz countertop and under the counter sink. We live downstate and it was important that we be able to coordinate the needed work so that it could be done when we were there. Also needed to be coordinated with the Home Depot appliance delivery and countertop people. Everyone at MacGregor's, including Harry, Joe H, Joe W, Stephen D, and other crew members and office staff, was wonderful. They were all so courteous and helpful, and took care of everything we needed while we were there, even making a couple of extra trips to make sure all was well before we headed back downstate. Jim from MacGregor's came and looked at our problem, water pump motor not running, diagnosed it but could not get parts to repair it. He suggested a alternative plan to find the part which I did by calling Luttrell's (business was not his suggestion just the type of business) who had the part and came an installed it. Problem solved. Debbie deserves a thanks for getting Jim to the house before the promised 5 pm which greatly contributed to getting our water pump running before the weekend. Joe called to let us know when he would be there, showed up on time. He was a pleasure to work with. He completed the preliminary estimate, informed me and then preformed the service. He was neat and clean and upon completion he tested everything to make sure all was in good working order. He always had a smile and was even funny at times. Great personality.
