Our old unit went out a couple weeks ago on a Sunday.i called Carolina care a service technician came out on Sunday.was not able to repair old unit so we decided to replace it with Carolina air care and they installed a temporary mobile unit in our condo until the new unit was installed which was a blessing because of the out side temperature at 90degrees.New unit was installed with in a week it is working great. I contacted C.A.C. to replace a heat pump I purchased 15 years ago. I was pleased with the choices they offered and got an upgraded unit at a great price. The installation crew was professional and polite. I am impressed that they will be coming back to do a quality control visit to inspect their work. My only concern is that I received an email stating that in order to maintain the labor and equipment warranty, I have to contract with the firm for yearly maintenance. I had a completely new packaged unit installed about a week ago. Everything went on time on schedule and on target as far as the cost. Next day someone came out as expected to inspect the install to see that everything was as it should be.

It's really kind of premature to be writing a review about the Lennox unit itself, since it's only been a week since the installation. However, I must say that we are very pleased with the service we received from Carolina Air Care. They were very professional in every aspect of the job. The price was right, they arrived when expected to do the job, they installed the unit and cleaned up everything, then the quality control technician came by the next day to inspect the superb job the installers had done. He explained to us all about how the unit works, what filters to use, what we can expect out of the unit, and how the warranty works. Very knowledgeable guy with some valuable information. The unit itself is extremely (and I mean EXTREMELY) quiet and works just as they told us it would. It is so nice to have a cool house again! The carpet and floors feel so much better, our bed is so cool and dry now that the new unit has pulled out the excess humidity from the house. Just had my split unit A/C and ductwork replaced. Not only were the install crew on time, and ready to work. They had all the answers to my questions, and some very helpful suggestions on ways to make my new unit work more efficiently. I recently bought a unit from them and they were very helpful. I received quotes from other companies and Carolina Air Care a sold me a great quality unit for much less than some of their competitors.
The techs that arrived to install my new unit were very friendly and and very informative. The person I bought my house from had installed the old unit himself and cut a lot of corners, but the installers fixed everything and didn't nickel and dime me to death. Our current AC was a 14 year old contractors unit so we were expecting to have to replace it when it stopped working for the second time in 3 years. Called Carolina Air Care around 0930 on a Saturday and they were there by 1230 (earlier than originally stated). The guy was very friendly and professional and I never felt like I was being lied to or taken advantage of. After telling him that we were prepared to replace the system, he fixed up the old system to work good enough until the new system could be installed so we wouldn't have to live in a sweltering house for the next few days. He completed all the paperwork with quotes on several different system options and went over each one individually. This was the second time I had used Carolina Air Care and recommended them to my grandmother who was also very pleased with their speediness and service.
