We had a heating emergency when our blower fan went out. I called Armbrust and they were able to schedule me with a tech, Jeff B., and within 2 hours we were back up and running. Jeff provided valuable information about our unit and how to proceed with maintenance to keep it up and running in the future. Thanksgiving day I had a large group of family & friends for dinner and my kitchen faucet started leaking profusely, to the point that I couldn't use it. It was less then 6 months old. I called Armbrust Plumbing & Heating the next day and Adam C was there within the hour. He fixed the faucet but also told me the faucet was defective and gave me several options to consider. I had several things that needed repair. Leaking pipes on 2 sinks, 1 shower with no hot water and a leaking faucet.
Tom H. showed me each broken piece and explained what he needed to do to repair them.

Patrick A arrived promptly at scheduled time at 7:00 am. Our hot water heating system has separate pumps and thermostats and he checked them all to be sure that were functioning properly. Armbrust has been our plumber for many years, and Patrick has been our service man for furnace maintenance for three plus years. We are very satisfied with his work and the work of Armbrust.

As stated in our online review, the contractor and work was outstanding. Our only complaint is that our appointment day/time, which I had taken work off for (without pay since I'm hourly) came and went, and when I called 45 minutes after the end of that window the woman who I had made the appointment with confirmed she made it for the day I sat home waiting, but then told me the dispatch list/schedule had us for the following day. I had no choice but to stay home another day, and we thought our time would have been comped or credited in some way off the final bill but there was no consideration for that lost day and lost wages (for me) waiting and then needing to call. 11/18/14 |

Our service professional and his work were outstanding. Our only frustration was that the appointment date we had scheduled, which I had taken off work for and sat home waiting during the window, came and went and about 45 minutes after the end time for that window I called the office and was told that although she had made my appointment for that day, somehow the dispatch list for contractors had us assigned for the following day. We would've liked to have part of that service time comped or some sort of discount on final bill due to my time taken off work (without pay), and then to have to make time for the following day, to the error of the company not us. I have recently moved to this home and was not famiilier with this furnace. When I lost my heat in the middle of the night I was not sure what to do. Someone came out as soon as possible and Jeff was a great representative of Armbrust. He took the time to go over my furnace explain things to me and when he left not only was my furnace working, but I was more informed and confident about the heating system in my home !
