I woke up to find no hot water and a pubble under my hot water heater. Alan arrived the same day and gave me a thorough explanation of my problem. Proceeded to replace my water heater with great efficiency; there was no evidence that he was ever there. He was great. I've worked with Armbrust for over seven years on a variety of projects in my home - they are the best. Every person is courteous, friendly, knowledgable, and accomodating. Armbrust is a respected local firm with a reputation for quality. We needed an emergency repair while I was traveling on business. I coached my wife on a temporary duct tape repair and called the emergency line late at night. I received a return call from the owner, who happened to be on another emergency call at a school. They were buried in other work and had no one available that night. He encouraged me to look for an alternative but call him back if unsuccessful, which proved to be the case. Alan arrived the next morning after I returned from my trip. He was polite, professional and quickly assessed the problem. The repair required some creativity but he discussed the alternatives before starting work. Problem resolved. He also spent some time reviewing some other plumbing needs and referred me to his supervisor rather than "set the hook" with a low ball estimate. Will definately use Armbrust again. He explained what the problem was (the heater was beyond repair). I ask several questions about my options and he was very informative and gave me all the information I needed to make my decision. He installed a new water heater very quickly. There was not trace that any work was done, Alan left the house clean, even after hauling the old heater out of the house.
