We highly recommend Armbrust Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning. We have using them for over 18 years. We had a leaking toilet supply valve. Called Armbrust first thing in the morning and had Tom H. at our home by 10:30 am. He was able to identify and fix the problem immediately. He checked all our valves for good measure. Dave B is a consummate professional who installed a new furnace and AC unit for us. He is meticulous, very considerate and has deep expertise in HVAC. He kept us very informed throughout the process and took the time to make sure we understood everything he did and how the new system operates. Our family has used Armbrust Plumbing for many years. (Our personal favorite plumber was Denny.) Your service and excellence of work is beyond compare. However, I do feel that charging each customer $14 for 'fuel and consumables', formerly 'truck and tool', is out of line - especially when our home is <5 miles from the shop. 09/19/14 |

Dave B. was very professional, well informed and kept us fully informed in every step from the initial inspection through the installation of our new furnace. He identified a part needed to solve a water leak, created a vent that was not installed by the builders, made a vent opening permanent to bring heat and air service to the second bedroom. Dave kept us fully informed at each step of the process and gave us a thorough explanation of the operation of the equipment and adjustments made to the Water Heater to make it more convenient. He put us in contact with John Reed to arrange for furnace replacement after explaining potential expense to repair current furnace. Had a sump pump issue in the am, called Armbrust immediately. Courteous office staff got me scheduled right away, provided a 2 hour service window (take that cable company!). Received a "heads up be there shortly call" and Adam Claus showed up on time at the earlier estimated time.
Listened to my description of the problem, quick diagnosis and solution in place within 30 minutes. Professional explanation that you can understand. Left area clean and removed his shoes without being asked. Helpful discussion on repair vs. replace, honest with no hard sell!

Called Armbrust, looking to book a service call for a balky water heater ASAP. Courteous staff in the office got us scheduled the same day. Our technician was Jeff Bizek. He was very professional, polite, took his shoes off without being asked! Jeff scoped out the problem, fixed it in short order, and gave an explanation that I could actually understand. In addition to fixing and explaining the problem, Jeff gave us a recommendation on some things to think about in the near future, also suggested we think about a new water heater given ours is 15 years old. I really could not be more pleased with the service, professionalism and follow up by Armbrust Plumbing Heating-AC. I can only say that it is SO nice when a company cares about their service and reputation. They obviously get that a good word of mouth recommendation it is the best marketing tool ever!!! We have been working with Adam C. for many years. Adam is very professional and takes the time to explain exactly he will do and also answers our many questions in a straight forward way. Some of our plumbing needs have been a bit complicated and Adam has always been a great problem solver and we have been more than happy with the results We always request Adam as he is our "go to guy" for our plumbing needs. When our air conditioning went out we were worried about the time it would take to get a repair person and the cost. We were pleasantly surprised when Armburst could send someone the same day. Jeff arrived on time. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than a half hour. He was knowledgeable about our unit and reassured us that the system was running well and not in need of being replaced. He also gave us recommendations on how to keep our machine running well. Tom was very professional and courteous, as usual. He graciously spent time discussing the problem via phone before coming to our house. He returned phone calls and arrived on time to do the job. He QUICKLY and accurately assessed and diagnosed the problem. He had to cut into the wall and the ceiling to assess and do the work. The cutting was minimized as much as possible and very clean from start to finish. He communicated clearly what he was going to be doing, and why. The "big" job didn't seem so big as he worked very confidently and efficiently. We have, and always will ask for Tom anytime we need work done. Dave W was able to respond to a double sump pump failure within an hour of my call. He didn't try to sell me a new pump -- found a piece of plastic preventing the pump from turning on. He located and fixed a leaking 45-degree elbow, replaced a broken hanger that was allowing a pipe to shake loose from a check valve. He recommended better check valves with screw-on connectors that cannot shake loose (and quietly close when the pumps turn off). Then he went outside and added a length of pipe so that the water cannot miss the underground extension. We only wish Dave W had done the original installation! Dave W. 08/27/14 |
