Alan C did a nice job for us this morning. We had a leaking inside shutoff and a leaking outside faucet fixture, both needing replaced as they were quite old.He assessed the situation carefully and then explained what options there would be to fix it, along with implications if he found other problems during the work. He replaced both the valve and the faucet, checked both for leaks, and was done inside of an hour. I will request Alan next time we need a plumbing repair. Alan C. 08/13/16 |

The whole team worked well individually and together. Alan came out to assess the problem (cracked sewer pipe) and immediately call supervisor Rich, so I could get a quote on what looked like a very large job. Lou had to remove my air conditioner to get to the pipe. Dave and his assistant did the repair which included digging a big hole on a very hot, humid day. I could not believe how quickly everything was done. We had our water running by early afternoon. I'm glad I used Armbrust. They were very good at explaining everything. Armbrust Plumbing, Heating and Air conditioning really are the experts in all 3 areas - and they provide great service. When I called, they gave explicit instructions as to how I could determine if the water puddling in my basement was from the furnace/air conditioning/humidifier, water heater, or some pipe I couldn't locate. The test worked and a tech was scheduled to arrive the next morning. Jeff called to advise his ETA and arrived on time, isolated the issue and cleared the blockage immediately, then provided his solution. I share some future plans and we agreed on an alternative solution he recommended. This took some redesign on Jeff's part but the solution will prevent a recurrence, looks great and fits into future plans. Thank-you Jeff for your efforts!!Well done!! Armbrust and specifically Dave Weirich were great! We moved in to a new house and had sewage come up in the basement the second night. We called Roto Rooter and got an appointment for the next morning. They came out and said they fixed the problem and tried to talk me into replacing pipes estimated at $8400. After I asked to take a picture of the pipe he said needed replacing to get other estimates he told me that the pipe was probably fine and not to worry about it. Didn't get a good feeling from Roto Rooter.
The basement drain backed up again 4 days later!! This time we called Armbrust at the recommendation of a local plumber. They came out right away on a Friday afternoon. Diagnosed the problem quickly, dropped a camera at no extra charge, and actually fixed the blockage! All that and were still much cheaper than Roto Rooter. Call Armbrust if you have a problem!! Tom arrived promptly, was friendly, professional and fixed the toilet as well as diagnosing a reason for a noisy bath tub faucet. The next day he can back to make a small adjustment to the flapper. It was a good experience.

I had Armbrust come out to investigate a backed up floor drain. It turned out we needed a new ejector pump, and our technician, Tom H, did a great job putting it in and explaining the issue to us. Dave came out on a Saturday and helped with a kitchen sink issue. The problem wasn't easily diagnosed but he took the time and effort to track it down and provide a solution. He was super professional and willing to help fix a complex and confusing plumbing issue. He could have easily said he can't find the problem and left me to figure it out on my own. John the estimator was very helpful and did not try to oversell us! In an industry rife with scams, I felt a breath of honesty.
The installer arrived on time and was very respectful and jovial. He really seemed to enjoy his job! I was impressed by the fact that neither he nor John spoke down to me at any time nor treated me with any disrespect.

Had Patrick A. fro Armbrust replace the broken main sewer line from the house. He was able to hand dig down 6 1/2 feet, pull the old line, replace it with new fittings and sealant, and fill and level the dig site in six hours - by himself! Armbrust Plumbing's Adam C. was in on time as promised and did our back flow testing, he was very quick and efficient without any disruption to staff or operations. Took about 90 minutes on site and they have some additional work to file with the proper agencies. Adam Claus was the service technician that arrived at our house to fix a clogged drain. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He also checked out the sump pump and gave us a full report on its efficiency. Adam is a true gentleman and an expert craftsman. Armbrust is fortunate to have Adam as an employee. We will ask for Adam when we have our boiler checked out in the near future.

Our A/C was acting up in this heat, and Louis P. was here an hour before expected to help out today. These guys always do a great job! They are friendly, helpful and quick - as well as educational!
