Tom Heyman was at my house in 45 min. He took care of my sump pump issue and then asked if he could help carry out all the water soaked rugs. Tom was also very good at explaining the problem and how he was going to fix it. I would recommend Armbrust and Tom. Tom H. 12/15/16 |

Having owned several homes, I know the importance of connecting with a good heating company and good plumber. I put Armbrust in the GREAT category. From the installation manager to the installer to the office staff to the owners you can draw a line of exceptional performance. This company has compassion, too. I was in an emergency service position--broken furnace and they arranged for the install asap. Lou P, the installer, was top notch. His years of experience were apparent when he did the work. Water heater broke early in the morning. Called Armbrust and Rich came out right away to take a look and diagnose. He was able to provide some hot water from the water heater that did not break to tide us over until early the next morning, when Alan arrived. Not only received excellent customer service but also high quality, timely, work. Alan arrived when promised and finished work as promised. Part of the house he worked in was left spotless (Thank you!) and Alan made sure I understood how the new water heaters worked. I would highly recommend Armbrust and will use again. Had CO detector go off right before I was to leave for work in the morning. Called Armbrust, call was answered by a live voice, and was told someone would be out at 11:00. Jeff B called me and said he would be at my house in 15-20 minutes. He did a great job. Checked for CO in the house, cleaned furnace, and explained evetything to me. We have had Armbrust Plumbing work on our mulitple projects at our house over the years and they always do a great job. This trip was to replace a garbage disposal and replace a cartridge on a leaking faucet. Alan C. phoned to confirm his arrival time, worked quickly and professionally on our repairs, had all the necessary parts on his truck and answered all my questions. Overall service is excellent. Scheduling has been hit or miss. Last two appointments tech arrived 45-60 minutes later than scheduled on the phone. First time appeared to be a mix up on the time given compared to the time given to the tech. The second just did not allow enough time for tech to have morning meeting, pack van, and make it to the site. While frustrating, this would not stop me from going to Armbrust before any other contractor. 12/12/16 |

I was washing my dog, and went down to the basement after I was done with wash. I saw my carpet all wet and water came down from the ceiling. I took shower in the morning, and so as my son, and it was fine, so something must have happened.
I called Armbrust for the first time. The lady explained what they would do and how much it would be. I did not want to wait so I asked her to send someone.
Within an hour, Pat showed up at my door. Went down stairs and checked what was going on. He explained what he would do and what needed to be happened. The work was done within 30 min. He explained more about what happened and what needs to be done.
I called Armburst because I see the name all the time and I knew that the business was family owned in Wheaton.
I appreciate Pat's job and how he was. I do hope I don't have to call them again, however, I will call them for another issue if happened. Patrick A. 12/09/16 |

Can't ask for better service from a plumber.
Two sweated ball valves were leaking on a hot water heating system.
Dave W. was on-time, polite, efficient, neat, careful, kind to my dogs.
He did an excellent job very quickly so as not to cost me an arm and a leg.
Cut into the system, removed and replaced both valves in less than an hour.
His work looks better than the original professional plumbing that is only 14 years old.
There was no mess when he left.
He only hand carried into the house what was needed so there was no worry about bumping into walls or doors with a giant messy toolbox on wheels.
I struggled with the decision to call a professional plumber vs. doing it myself.
U-tube is good, but Dave W. is waaaaay better.
Next time I will not hesitate to just have another cup of coffee (or beer depending upon time of day) and sit back and watch Dave.

Louis was awesome. He was efficient, courteous and helpful. He walked us through our new Ecobee thermostat, which is pretty fantastic. He hustled back to the shop to pick it up as well so we could have it up and running the same day. Talk about service! I needed to replace my sump pumps (primary and backup). Alan Carlson was my technician from Armbrust. He reviewed my options as well as provided quotes and date options. They were able to perform the service within the next day. During the installation, Alan noticed some issues with my sump well and made some recommendations to repair. Just had Alan C. at my house to rod my sewer after the drain in my laundry room backed up all over the place. Friday of a holiday weekend is not when you want to have things like this happen, but Alan could not have been more pleasant and quickly fixed our immediate problem. He also recommended the next step I could take to get rid of the tree roots that keep invading our sewer pipe. I have been using Armbrust for a couple of years now and am glad that I found them. Tom installed a new drinking fountain in our facility. What should have been a relatively simple job turned into a major undertaking. Tom ended up having to relocate pipes and work in a very restricted space. Through it all, he was very upbeat and professional. When finished, he made sure that I was happy with the installation and the pressure and temperature settings. He cleaned the area up so well, that you couldn't tell that he had even been there.
