Alan called me at my phone number and arrived in a timely manner. Very professionally he donned shoe covers to protect my floors. Upon giving me an assessment of what was needed he then started to drain the old heaters water into my laundry room drain, when it was drained, he removed the old heater and installed the new one with some newer piping, he in formed me that a valve was installed improperly and replaced it.i was surprised to see the new tank was quite a bit larger than the old on in size, and Alan's professionalism throughout the whole process made the experience all the more better, I think he is an asset to Armbrust, and I will continue to use Armbrust for my plumbing needs. Hello- Tom was at our home on 12/30/2016 in response to a complaint that we (had been for a short time and still) were smelling (faint odor of) gas in the house. Background: We recently moved into our (new) home. We had frequently been smelling faint (yet fleeting) odor of gas in the basement. After a visit from ***** (whose equipment could not sense the presence of gas) and a few maintenance calls regarding appliances which needed servicing, we eventually ruled out the appliances as being the sources of the gas leak. With gas leak detector fluid in hand, we started swabbing all the union points on the main gas line coming into the house. Finally after some effort, we were rewarded with an apparent leak point. A quick call on the morning on 12/30 rewarded us with an appointment time that same day; Tom arrived early that morning. I explained the situation and pointed out what our suspicion was and off to work he went! He was able to confirm the location of our gas leak and (with the age of the house in mind) at my request, he also double checked other nearby gas pipe unions as well. After fixing the problem, we took a look at the removed section of piping to see if we could detect the source of the problem. Apparently when the house was built, they had had problems back then getting the two pieces to thread properly. So that gas had been leaking for some time; gulp! It has now been nearly 2 weeks. The smell of the gas is completely gone and it feels so good to have peace of mind, finally! Not just helpful, but Tom is professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. My water heater stopped working, Patrick came, foundI had a warranty on the heater I purchased from a big box store, called to get the part for me and came back once the part arrived. They squeezed me in for a late afternoon appointment to make sure I got hot water again. Armbrust really came to the rescue when I discovered a water leak in my bathroom. Tom Heyman quickly arrived and did an excellent job assessing the problem, which involved my toilet's back tank. Tom also noticed the lack of flush power and helped fix that too. Now my toilet is working better than ever. Louis came to my home to do a very difficult furnace installation. It took all day and not once did he complain. He said it was just part of his job. He was very courteous and keep me informed on what was going on. I would recommend Louis for all your furnace installations and Armbrust for all your heating concerns. After purchasing a new dishwasher, the deliverymen said they could not install it as water and electrical needed to be moved. I called Armbrust and Tom did an amazing job getting us all set up. We had a leak with a toilet in a bathroom where the flooring had recently been replaced. It was wonderful to get an immediate response from Armbrust the day after the Christmas Holiday since we weren't able to use the half bath on our 1st floor for several days. Adam did a great job of repairing the toilet and reinstalling it the correct way. He was not only efficient, but courteous and personable. We are thankful to be the recipients of such great service.

We had a strange noise coming from our lower level bathroom. Call Armbrust and Adam came right out. He was very polite and very concerned about the cleanliness of his work. He diagnosed the problem immediately and fixed it within minutes. I have always found Armbrust service technicians to be courteous and very knowledgeable. Adam certain fit that description. My furnace went out on the coldest day of the year. Armbrust came out right away and gave me a quote and scheduled an install in 2 days. Lou was my installer and he was wonderful. Was efficient and thorough in his work and explaining and showing me the reason why my old furnace went out. Put down drop cloths so my carpets would not get dirty, and left the laundry/furnace area clean and tidy. Installed a new furnace, humidifier and thermostat. Great employee who did a wonderful job. I always ask for Tom by name: He comes on time, he explains what he finds and what he is going to do about it, and he works with care and diligence. Also, we live in an older home, and Tom is familiar with the quirks and challenges these homes present to a tradesman. Armbrust Plumbing was very professional. They explained the required work before it was begun and answered my many questions as the job progressed. They dug for a sewer clean-out and were careful with my plantings and paver path. They found some potentially dangerous vent piping when they replaced my water heater and corrected what could have been a carbon monoxide leak. When I called Armbrust last Friday the phone was answered by a very friendly gentlemen and to my surprise I was able to get an appointment to have my furnace cleaned the very next day. Jeff called when he was on his way. He was very courteous and informative.
