We have had Woolley for our home for over 25 years. We scheduled our annual cleaning for today. Joe called before he came, which was great, that way I knew who was coming and that he was on his way. He let me know that his work would take about an hour and it did. When he was done he left the furnace area clean and turned off the lights. Couldn't even tell he was in the house.

Ed P can today to give an estimate on replacing my old oil burner. Ed walked me thru the differnt options of staying with old or conversion to gas. Ed was very knowlegeable on the two systems. Ed measure all the radiators and had suggestion on how to get more heat out of them.Ed check the oil tank which in ground and found water which will speed up the process of our task at hand.

David B came for a routine check up on our boiler and discovered that our hot water heater (Which he had personally installed 15 years ago) had sprung a leak and needed replacing. So he got us a new one immediately and installed it in addition to tuning up our boiler. A job that should have lasted 30 minutes lasted 3 hours (due to the bad water heater) but he was cheerful the whole time. David B. 09/30/16 |

Joe F came to do an annual tune up on our heating unit. Very nice, professional, and respectful. He managed his work area well (left NO mess at all) and afterwards, provided me with a synopsis of what he had done. Then he went above and beyond the call of duty and started talking to me about our hot water heater as well. He explained that it looked to be in good shape (no leaks or anything like that), how old it was, who the manufacturer is, etc...

We have a service contract with Woolley for our oil burning furnace. Their technicians always do a thorough job and give an honest evaluation of our equipment. The last service was done by Art D. He went above and beyond to ensure our furnace will work as effectively as possible and cleaned the unit inside and out as well as the entire area around the unit. Woolley has been my oil company for over 15 years and always responsive. Since we have an old oil system I am now considering converting either to an updated oil system with tank in basement or to convert to gas (which is in the house already). Ed came and did a thorough review of the current system's radiators and described the options for us to consider. Sad to learn that Woolley Home is not BBB accredited. (Perhaps it is under the name Woolley Home Solutions or Woolley Fuel Company.) I and my parents before me have been dealing with this firm since they were A D Runyon. They have maintained our furnace with excellent service for over 60 years of conversion from coal to several furnace replacements over the many years of living in the same house. I just had my annual furnace tune-up with Art D. and Chris. They called me ahead of their expected ETA, arrived early and the job was done efficiently, and all was left clean in the furnace room in the basement. When my Mother was ill in the hospital in December, 2011, I had to leave the basement open for the techs who were scheduled to install the latest furnace and tank while I was at the hospital daily to oversee Mother's care. This major job took about a week. I was able to have heat and hot water when I came home in the evenings. I cannot tell you how trustworthy and honest the guys were--no problem! I would highly recommend this company to other homeowners--and courtesy, knowledge, honesty, people skills reign supreme. Art D. 08/13/16 |
