Very responsive team at MacFarlane. A fix for our Bosch water heater has proved elusive thus far, but they are on it. Nancy is friendly and helpful, and she makes sure to call you back. Wayne has been labor intensive away in our attic working on the on demand water heater, and promises that it will be fixed, and I believe him. He, like all of the folks I dealt with at MacFarlane, is friendly, responsive and a hard worker.... I would highly recommend them...

Dennis and Tom serviced our furnaces today. Dennis introduced himself and was polite, friendly and professional (and took a moment to get to know our dogs!) He is an example of why we are so happy with MacFarlane. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a heating and AC company.

This was my first experience with MacFarlane, and their techs certainly left a positive impression on their first visit. My HVAC system serves a large house and can be quite confusing to any service technician on the first visit, but Wayne and Tom took their time in familiarizing themselves with all the ducting, piping, valves and labels. One of the joys of hanging around them while they service your system is the fact that they think aloud, allowing you to understand what is being done as they reach out for their toolbox. They never rushed their work (a very common thing with heat service companies) and they actually ask if you have any questions or concerns about your system before they leave. I'm proud to be supporting a local company that retains well-experienced, hard working staff.

Called with a problem, scheduled a fix. Technician showed up early in the 4hr window (1:45 minutes in) Fixed the problem, explained possible future issues. Left the work area clean. All is good!

Have used MacFarlane for about 15 years. Their service people have always been nice when they come each year to do the service maintenance. Always friendly and leave my area cleaner than when they got here. If I have any questions they are always happy to answer them. I only remember calling them once when I didn't have any heat, and they came promptly. Only to find that I had shut the switch off. I was so embarrassed, but they didn't get upset. I would definitely recommend them.

We've had a relationship with them through two houses and about 15 years, and I think highly of the owner and all the office staff and technicians I've met. We had one problem along the way, which they resolved immediately and in a helpful, professional manor. A great choice for us.

Just bought a house and MacFarlane went above and beyond for me. First time home owner and I needed to get oil on a Sunday. No other company would come out as needed as I was not a "current customer" on them but MacFarlane Energy came out for my emergency! The technician Darren was very helpful too. He assisted us and helped us with our ancient boiler and making sure it worked and we had heat until the oil came. If i were to join a company, I will pick MacFarlane because of their friendly tech and customer service

Called for service . over the weekend and spoke with an older woman. After 1 1/4 hours I didn't receive a call from any tech. Called again, the woman seemed confused and I cancelled the request for service. NOT VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.'.

This is being written as mike is back for a second time to fix the boiler. Yesterday's fix did not work and the house has been 48 degrees for the last 24 hours. He arrived this morning clearly not wanting to work on our boiler. Hopefully the issues will be addressed today. I will give the night repairman a 10+ in courteousness and skill. Only wish they would have sent him back today.

System cleaning was fine. Technician broke my flagstone step-probably stepped on edge rather than step. Also there is an 18x18 in. oil spill at burner that was not cleaned up and nothing was done to absorb the oil. Can this be corrected? My basement smells of oil.
