Installation was at the agreed-to time and done well, as far as I was able to tell. Installers appeared completely competent and were careful. I have not given five stars because at this time there are some issues that remain to be settled; however these are not major and I do expect we will be able to resolve them in a way that is reasonable for all. Great experience. Thomas R came to clean and adjust our gas converted oil burner. The furnace was in much worse shape than I had thought, so the job took much longer than average. Thomas did all the necessary work without complaint about the time, and did not leave until he was satisfied with the results. MacFarlane repaired our boiler after business hours with only a couple of hours notice. We called them after a large competitor told us we needed to replace our boiler and all the pumps at a cost of $7-20k. Thomas came in and got the boiler working and then troubleshooted a broken gas pump and an issue with one of our Nest thermostats. MacFarlane is our first call going forward for our HVAC. I get automatic oil delivery from MacFarlane and love having the service. It also includes an annual tune up. Wayne came out for that and did a great job. I have used MacFarlane Energy for close to 27 years and have NEVER had a negative experience. The entire team is professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Thomas R and his associate came to my home today and fixed the problem with my furnace in about an hour. He had called me prior to his visit to let me know he was 10 minutes away. He arrived promptly and diagnosed why I was not getting heat on my second floor. He did what was necessary to correct the problem and gave me some good advice about what temperature to set the thermostat when I was not in the house.
