Anthony did a great job repairing my furnace. He attacked the problem in a logical and professional manner. I would definitely recommend him to family, neighbors and friends. I was also very impressed with Lake Cook Plumbing response to my furnace problem. I woke up to a dead furnace, called at 7:00 and Anthony was on site at 8:30 and finished by 10:15!! There is no one better than Lake
Cook Plumbing when it comes to speed of service. That is why I use their services. However, they were very expensive for a water heater I needed replaced. Also, their work is superior. However, the technician broke the water shut-off valve trying to turn it, but left it laying on the floor next to the water heater without replacing it. I found that very odd and very unacceptable. I'm still waiting for a call back from him telling me when he'll be back to fix it (a week later). 01/20/17 |

Our basement flooded 2 weeks after moving in. We called your service. The man who came out made it clear he did not want to be at our home; wanted to watch the game. Tried to roto the sewer line and "hit something" then he stopped. Aren't you supposed to hit something? Another company came and did the same thing and got the drain line open. You charged us ALOT OF MONEY for absolutely nothing. I will never forget it. 11/22/16 |

I called Lake Cook Plumbing on a whim while surfing the internet. It was the best choice!
They had a tune up special going on for $79. Our service guy Mike B. was knowledgeable, efficient, quick and extremely professional. He was as honest as they come. He informed us what was wrong and what needed to be replaced. He was back the next day and installed the part. They even gave us and installed a carbon monoxide detector for free. Service was A .

Very good and helpful with answering my questions (i.e. taking the time to listen and then responding). Only negative is they were by far "THE MOST EXPENSIVE!!!!" plumber I have ever used. Chris Burns completed the work on our sump pump at the quoted price while also
providing a great deal of additional information to help us understand what was going on in our basement. Chris Burns was knowledgeable, personable, polite. He provided a number of recommendations we could take to improve the plumbing in our home. I am very happy we had our problems addressed with Chris and I commend him for his excellent customer service. It was perfect. It took Mike less than 30 minutes to remove the old unit and install the new one. When I turned it on, it was so quiet, it was almost musical. The drawback was it cost $247.34. So, Mike's billing rate is close to $500 an hour. I think, next time, I will get a second quote, first, because Lake Cook Plumbing charges $49 just for the quote if you do not agree to the repairs. Casey L. was punctual in his arrival and spent a generous amount of time at our home. He explained each diagnostic procedure to be followed, and pointed out required remedial measures. He did walk-arounds, prepared complete estimates and showed us exact costs for each procedure. When we decided on a course of action, he immediately undertook the repairs. What a relief to have a Master Plumber, Phil, who was open and honest about options for repairing our tub and sink drainage issues.
The work was done quickly, with excellent results (wife and daughters are gonna be real happy, when they get home) and a really fair price.
He went WAAAY beyond what was needed and checked out our sump pump, water softener and toilets - acknowledging what was working great (leave it alone) and what would soon need attention.
