Great job for the first time I've used them. Called with a non-emergency at about 7:30am..plumber was at my house by 8:30, installed copper water line in a crawl space to connect an exterior spigot and was out the door by 10am. Fair price, great and thorough job. Top notch! Josh F. 06/18/16 |

Great service both in person and on the phone however I rated it 7 stars because the plumber didn't go over anything with anyone and had a rather cold exterior when communicating. He didn't bother to explain anything at all and just said "welp here's what needs to happen". So was rather left at the mercy of said professional. 06/18/16 |

I have been waiting to calm down before I call the office because the technician made a huge mess on our floors by allowing to water to seep out of the sewer and than walking through the entire area with that filth. He even attempted to walk elsewhere except that I stopped him. With have our son with small children living with us so the next day we had to call Stanley Steemer to come clean the carpeting. In addition, the charge to tweek what I had installed for about 10 minutes worth of work, the charge was ridiculously outrageous!!! I don't think any of you would pay what you made me pay. Josh came and did solid job of finding the problem and efficiently proceeded to unplug our clogged sewer drain. He knew just what to do and didn't try to do more than needed. It was expensive but what a relief to get it taken care of. He was courteous and pleasant to deal with.

Ridiculously expensive. $350 for less than 30 minute job to replace toilet tank kit (I had already purchased the kit separately). Quoted over $350 to replace refrigerator water line which I later replaced in less than 5 minutes.

After having called several plumbing companies to get an estimate on a simple rodding of the bathtub, I came upon Lake Cook Plumbing. Their prices were much better than the others I spoke to and the service was super fast and great. Chris was very polite and knowledgeable and provided me with quotes on some other things I have on my plumbing wish list. He gave me several recommendations of jobs that could be done easily and with minimum cost that would prevent flooding. All in all, I would highly recommend Lake Cook. I had a plugged sink. I called Lake Cook Plumbing and didn't have to wait. The person that answered the phone was courteous and professional. The service technician that came to our home was knowledgeable, clean, had all the tools needed, and got the job done. All I can say is...great! I was called when the plumber was on his way. He showed up when he was scheduled. The work was done by Chris (who was amazing!) and done perfectly. Chris checked our ac, water heater and sump pump before he left. He gave me suggestions and taught me about my sump pump. He never tried to sell me more work. Chris, the technician, was extraordinarily thorough in his explanation of the issue of a broken pipe, what he would to fix it, and gave an estimate before he started. Phil and Chris did a great job in evaluating our plumbing issues and taking care of them. We had serious clogged pipes - they were cast iron and had over 50 years of accumulated mineral deposits that left very little room for any discharge. They removed the old piping and installed new. Also we had the old galvanized pipes replaced with cooper and wow what a difference in water flow. The cost to do these repairs was substantial, but we felt it was fair considering the time and materials they had to use.

Many thanks to Lynn in the office who solved my emergency service needs taken care of in lightning speed - Josh came to the rescue. Josh was very professional from his initial identification and then throughout the job. He took care of everything and when he was done, there wasn't a trace to be found that he had been there - except the fixed problem of course which was the goal.
