I had a sewer line blockage that needed attention now!! I called LCPS At 2:45 PM, I had never used them before, and in less than 2 hours I had a man on the job, Phillip, and he took care of the problem. He was done and gone before 6pm. Discovered our hot water tank was leaking and went to Angie's List. Picked Lake Cook Plumbing because of their proximity to our home and the good reviews. Was able to schedule a prompt appointment which they were actually early for. Mike E. Told us our options and we decided to go with new tank. Was able to schedule that at our convenience also. Mike E. Arrived on time and was out the door two hours later. Was extremely professional, quick, neat and personable. Lake Cook is definitely our plumbing company going forward. The service was great and Phillip is welcome in my home anytime for repairs he was knowledgeable and most of all very respectful and got the job done better and faster than I thought it would get done. Everyone that I spoke to at the company from the girls in the office to technicians and the owner are a bunch of the most pleasant people that I have spoken to in a business in a long time. Mike E was amazing, highly professional and was very patient while we were attempting to get into the unit with the water main and with my warranty company to make sure I was refunded for the work.
Additionally while other companies were unable to come out the same day even though I had a major problem, Lake Cook came out same day as promised in thier add.
I would highly recommend Lake Cook plumbing and if all the other servicemen are as good as Mike you can't go wrong. 11/27/13 |

Mike E was outstanding, he helped us to understand what needed to be done, helped insure the work was covered under my warranty. Additionally we needed to get into another townhome to shut off the main and he never give up even through it was starting to look like we were not going to get the work. Great to work with. Had a good plan and recommended some changes to the way my hot water is setup. I appreciated the work to move the heater pipe even if was not part of quote. I had a great experience with Lake Cook Plumbing Service. Unfortunately one of the valve from our main water supply line broke and I ended holding the valve so that water would not spill all over our basement. We immediately called Lake Cook Plumbing Service and explained the situation. They had one of their service tech out to our property within 10 minutes. We had an emergency with our main water valve. Needless to say I was stuck holding the valve so water would not spill all over our basement. Sunday, Not a good day to have your sump back up a little bit. I called the Lake Cook Plumbing Service, Inc. and spoke with Mike. (of course they are bonded, insured and licensed and guarantee their work) He asked it I wanted to have someone come out on Monday, if today, it would cost double (understandably). In the course of our conversation, I explained what I saw over the phone, and he explained how the different pipes were set up (education on Brown vs. gray water!). He said "jiggle the sump pump to loosen the stuck valve". VOILA! the pump started working! No charge. I was so pleased and he was very nice to me. A truly honest service, I will definitely be calling them for my plumbing needs. Only an honest person would pass up a big service call, for an easy solution. Ask for Mike, he really knows his stuff!
