We had a gas leak that was detected by Nicor after smelling gas upon entering our home. I called MANY local plumbers and was told they were booked, busy, etc and could not come out until the following day. We were without gas to the house, so it was an emergency to get someone out to get the gas up and running one the problem was fixed. Casey came out within the hour of calling Lake Cook Plumbing, Heating and AC. He was extremely friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Casey and this company for any plumbing emergency. This is the best Plumbing Service I have ever used! They communicate before during and after their visit to do the work, they arrive on time, they are dressed professionally and are respectful of your home, they keeping the work area clean and presentable at all times, and they listen to your questions and provide knowledgable responses, options, and recommendations. The quality of their work is exceptional and very detail oriented. They sent a very qualified, experienced, and efficient employee named Brian. This was my first time using Lake Cook Plumbing after using a well known national competitor for years, and I can say this won't be my last time using Lake Cook Plumbing! on Monday 12/11 we awoke to no hot water in our home. I tried to relight the pilot etc. on my own but finally gave up. I called Lake Cook at 12:15 PM that day and they had a technician at my home by 4 PM. He installed a new Water Heater and was done by 5:30. I needed emergency service on Sunday, 12/10/17, and called Lake Cook Plumbing to install a new sump pump ASAP. Lake Cook Plumbing responded immediately and sent out their technician, Casey Lane, to perform the service. Casey was very professional, answered all questions concerning the sump pump installation, and performed the service in a timely fashion. Mike was professional but ultimately did not put me any closer to diagnosing and fixing the problem. The web site indicated you were leak detection experts. $150 later I don't know much more than I did before. I'm told the step is a $400 service code with no guarantees of fixing the problem. 12/10/17 |

Friendly, professional, and direct in communicating problems and options for replacement or repair. He worked directly on the issue and resolved in a very reasonable time frame. The work done was good but the price was outrageous. The gas company came out and they couldn't believe the price. I am going to put a review on your website. I found the leaked and you extended the pipe 4 inches and charged $483. 12/06/17 |

Could not figure out the problem 100%. Good chance that a pipe under my concrete patio is broken and needs to be replaced. Gave me an outrageous quote of $12,600 for the job not including fixing the concrete so it'll be more along the lines of $18,000-$20,000...
Seemed quick to replace everything even tare down trees and Excavate a lot. Seems too intense, honestly. Im stuck because I need this house sellable by Spring. I might not fix this or get second opinion. Also, spent $405 for 45 minutes to have it before inconclusive and more diagnosis. I should be partially reimburst. Dont know what to do. Showed up an hour late to give estimate, which made me late for my job. gave me an estimate of more then a thousand dollars to replace my old on/off switch for my 1/4 inch copper waterline going to my refrigerator.

Brian came to our house to replace two Faucets that we already had and one laundry tub that we already had. We could've done the job ourselves in a 2 to 3 hours but we ran out of time. Brian showed up and asked us how long it had been since we had a plumber out to the house. He proceeded to try to sell us everything he could including telling us that he could chuck or water quality and our shower efficiency. We reiterated that we only needed the replacement of the two Fossetts and one tub. He then asked us how long it had been since we had seen plumbing prices. He sent us an invoice via email that showed the repairs would cost over $3700 . He then told us that the reason it was so high was because of his schooling and that he had more schooling than a brain surgeon. We thought the price was a joke and he then asked us how much we thought it would be and how much we be willing to pay implying that they have a variable pricing schedule based on how stupid you choose to be. We chose to be smart we paid for his services and then had someone from Ford plumbing over to our house who is doing the three jobs that we asked Lake County plumbing to do along with two additional jobs for a total of between four and $500. I would never choose or recommend Lake County plumbing to anyone as they are a complete rip off. 11/17/17 |

Jeremy at Lake Cook Plumbing did a wonderful and fast job fixing our drainage/water backup problem. He came out the next day to give us an estimate and the following day to complete the service. I have a 'club' membership with my local plumber but when I needed a plumber within 3 days, I couldn't get one without paying overtime and a minimum of 2 hours. I called Lake Cook Plumbing Services because they have a great rating in Best Products 2017. They were able to confirm a plumber for the next day. They called ahead to advise me of the time and updated the arrival within a half hour of arrival. Mike was courteous, assessed the situation, outlined the pricing, completed the job, went over what he had done and answered all of my questions, offering some suggestions for future maintenance which I appreciated. And the price was reasonable. Club or not, I am not returning to my other plumber, and Lake Cook Plumbing Services will be my first call in the future. Mike B. 11/10/17 |

Our sewer backed up during all the rain, I called LCPLUMBING cuz they were local and I had 4 of their magnets on the fridge. They were polite, I got an appointment right away, they called and let me know they were on their way, I got an email and text on who my technician was and about who he was, Mike Burien, that was really neat, he was thorough, professional, rodded out our main sewer line quickly, we had tree roots, he also gave good advice about what to do to prevent a blockage, and what to expect in the future.
