Lake Cook Plumbing arranged an appointment promptly, timely provided the building with the required insurance certificate, told me when their plumber (Jeremy) was on the way, called me while on site to inform me of the problem, located the replacement parts, returned on time to install them and advised me when finished. Jason was great at responding to my call for help. He was quick at resolving the problem and worked very hard, despite the small space he had to work in and very helpful with answering my questions. The only thing I could have used a little more help with was that a few days later I think I still heard the sump pump running and I don"t know if it is suppose to keep running or not????? Brian K. Recently provided excellent service in replacing my failed sump pump which removed 6 inches of water in the. lower level of my home. He then returned a few days later to install a backup pump with another gentleman. Both were very professional and skilled. They went to the extra effort to remove several dead soldier sump pumps that remained from previous companies. Brian was very good at explaining the new backup system and gave advice for any future maintenance. He also provided a referral to Chicago water and fire restoration who provided more assistance. When my sump pump stopped working, even before 8 am, I looked for a close-by plumber. I noticed Lake Cook Plumbing had all A reviews. The receptionist was very pleasant because she greeted me so positively. She set up her earliest appointment at 2Pm.. I told her I could probably live with that because whatever will happen will happen. A half hour later, she called to let me know Brian was on his way--he finished his last job early. She sent me a picture of Brian and his credentials. Brian arrived, asseted the situation, did a plumbing inspection of the water heater and turn off valves, sat down and gave me many suggestions and price ranges what could correct the situation. I chose one; he had to go to the satellite dealer for parts, returned and finished the job. It was a flat fee and warranted. When finished, he called me down to explain how the system worked and what I should expect. Brian was personable, efficient, knowledgeable, and worked and sweated hard to finish the job. Mike was great and did an excellent job. Cost of service .., $975 ... for 1 hour of labor and materials 1/2 hp disposal. Way to expensive. Only reason I paid price, I needed it done otherwise, no way. Also will not recommend to friends or family and will never use the service again. 06/23/17 |
