I tried to reach Evolve vacation rental to reschedule a vacation due to the COVID pandemic over a 4 month period. I was told to wait until June 1st to reach them and then I could reschedule my vacation to 2021. My final vacation deposit would not be due until 30 days prior to the 2021 vacation. As instructed on June 1st, I reached out to the company numerous times to reschedule and they intentionally would not return my calls. They then charged my account for the final deposit for the vacation that was not taking place. In addition, the company refused to speak with me because I was working with my bank to dispute the charge. My family and I have lost $4,500 as a result and they still refuse to speak with me. Unfortunately, I am going to have to get a lawyer and sue to get my money back. The BBB was absolutely no help in this situation.

I had zero expectations of anything being done by Waste Connections or ever hearing from them. To my utter surprise I got a phone call and an apology from the manager at WC and assurance that the problem would be corrected. It was!!!! He hired a new crew who are courteous and know how to follow simple requests. I am very pleased and very grateful to you for your help. It sounds like he also may have hired more office staff as he assured me that the wait times with phone calls were going to lessen. Thank you very much for your help. I am very pleased.

I have to say I did not expect much especially in our world today. But the BBB did more than I ever thought possible. I had the corporate legal department of Via sat contact me personally. My issues were resolved once the truth was exposed. The BBB made this possible. Its truly a relief when one has been wronged to be vindicated. The truth really does matter and justice did prevail!

I appreciate the BBB for existing. It appears my complaint was attached to a fraudulent company and I was a victim, none of which the BBB can really help with but at least I may help warn others. I lost a great deal of money during a pandemic as a single mother to this thieving company and at least maybe I can help someone else using this forum.

I contacted the BBB to help me with an issue I was having with a business. They wrote to the company to try and resolve the issue on my behalf, it was nice having a mediator to help me. Ultimately they will warn other consumers away from a bad business if there is no resolution.

getting unwanted mail from the I WANT TO BUY YOUR HOUSE companies I asked over and over even warned them I will contact the BBB. So I did in a matter of days I got the E-mail my name was removed. Very Very Happy with the BBB Team

I had an issue with a business and submitted a claim and within a month my issue was resolved and the business even refunded me the monies I was out. Thank you for everyone involved to help me get my issues resolved and in such a timely manner. And I appreciate the business for refunding us our monies!!

Not happy with the response from BBB in resolving issue with Frontier Airlines. I will be following up with the Department of Transportation. Frontier Airlines will NOT be taking my $700 and keep it without letting me use my full credit

If you say yes to trying to work with the problem they close your case even though nothing has been done. Case should NOT be closed until problem has been solved or at least addressed by business.

The BBB seems to hold the interests of businesses in higher regard then us consumers. My issues was with Frontier Airlines and their ability to to keep funds for flights that were required to be canceled due to the corona virus. It is incredible that the airlines get to keep our funds when they did not provide any service and we all had to cancel our flights due to the travel restrictions. Finding out that the BBB allowed this, and even backed the theft of funds is incredible!

I was having an issue with a car warranty service company who weren't completing my claim. I filed a claim with the company and couldn't reach the adjuster. It had been 2 months of no contact so I reached out to BBB to see if I could get my money back. The process was easy - I explained my issue and they sent it to the company. I had a response in 2 days! Issue was resolved in a total of 5 days. I would not have been able to accomplish this without their help.

WOW was completely unresponsive to my issues prior to getting BBB involved. After filing my BBB complaint, I was contacted by WOW and they investigated the issues. They referenced the BBB complaint several times in our discussions. After WOW completed their investigation my issues were resolved. BBB kept me informed as things progressed.

I was struggling for a few months to get a refund for a merchandise I'd returned. The seller had my money, my product, and stopped responding. Everything was promptly resolved after I submitted a complaint through BBB. This was my first time, and I was very happy with how quickly it was handled. To the BBB team - keep doing an amazing job!

this problem had been going on for at least half a year, and if it weren’t for better business bureau the company would have continued to ignore my requests for a resolution. BBB made them finally take notice and do the right thing

Not helpful at all. Waste of time. The business lied and denied everything and the BBB did nothing. So what's the point of using the BBB if businesses can game the system and not be held accountable? Better off using the courts to resolve disputes. BBB does nothing.

My issue was not resolved but the BBB closed my dispute out as a favorable outcome. The outcome was by far and away NOT favorable. Upon receiving the email to take this survey I checked my spam (as I had not emails from BBB) and there was 2 and one of those emails closed my dispute. The company, FRONTIER AIRLINES, has yet to do anything but offer me a 24hr extension. WHO PLANS AIRFARE IN 24hrs?? I will be filing another dispute. BBB apparently has good communication when the email server does not filter emails out as spam. Hopefully my next dispute has a more favorable outcome.

Thank you for your help with Century Link. I had previously spent 12 hours trying to cancel my service and have them refund what they owed. I strongly feel that I would not have gotten any further without your help. In fact, I was about just give up with them, and BBB quickly got it handled and got all of the money they owed us back. Thank you for making SOMETHING right in this upside down world.

BBB was of no help at all. They accepted CenturyLinks responses liké théy where an honest company and would try to mitigate their offense. I told them in my complaint that they are deceiving their customers, and they havé a D rating bye their own standards, so obviously everything they say is going to be facts?

Filed complaint thru BBB regarding Century Link Communications and my inability to download a new copy of the McAfee internet security Century Link was now providing it's internet customers. I was only able to download 2 copies here at my home office and was not able to download a third copy at a different e mail address as part of my Century Link internet service. Got no where on telephone with agents of both Century Link and McAfee while each blamed the other for the problem and offered no solution. Some 2 or 3 weeks later I received a call on my phone from Century Link that was left as a message as I was not at home at time call arrived. The Century Link caller said they would call again in an attempt to resolve the problem, they never called again. The BBB did what they said they and could do in representing me and forwarding my complaint to Century Link. The BBB represents a very valuable service to consumers and all their agents and personnel should be thanked for the services they provide. Thank you, BBB personnel! Additionally I am still waiting for one of Century Links agents to return that promised phone call so this problem can be resolved.

I was very impressed with the response I received to my notification. I tried for months to get a refund for items not ordered but sent to me, returned the items, repeatedly tried to get my $200 (advertised as a $29.99 trial). Within 2 weeks of notifying the BBB I received my refund. Thanks so much!

While the BBB cannot resolve every issue, they certainly respond to your complaints and work with both parties for a resolution that is fair. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
