MY 2 major questions and complaints were not answered. Why wasn't I transferred to a US representative as required by US law when I asked? Why are they able to NOT follow US law without any consequence? Why wasn't I told that after I was given a transaction number that the money in question would be refunded to my credit card and minds were obviously changed, I was not notified. MY QUESTIONS WERE NOT ANSWERED.

BBB is a great organization that attempts to help resolve issues. It becomes complicated when the business is not accredited, however they still try. The reason for the 4 instead of 5 is the actual BBB website. They sent me a follow up and asked a question but I had no way to reply to the question within my complaint. It stated there was no action needed on my part, but there was. Maybe the service rep forgot to open it so I could reply, because that is usually what happens if a response it needed. I sent an email with my case number answering the questions but never received a response and it doesn’t appear it was recorded or tied to the complaint. I imagine since the business is not BBB accredited and they have an F rating, it isn’t going to really matter. I don’t know why they keep calling, no way to get off the list and if you request too, they just hang up and keep calling from multiple different numbers. I did not engage with or hire this place so it is frustrating. The BBB tried to do the best they could and at least this place keeps a low score. I just hope no one actually gives them any money. My only frustration was not being able to communicate directly or respond directly when asked too. Other than that, they are great.

After collecting all the info BBB requested...they followed up with my complaint......the company responded..and agreed to alter their stand... and now I can get the work performed....Thanks BBB Ron Jones

The BBB sent my concern quickly, however I wish they had an alternative way to contact me regarding the response from the business because I do not check email as often as I check a text message. I did not respond to the business reply in time to let them know their solution was inadequate so I had to accept it. All in all this is the way to go when trying to right a wrong.

I am extremely disappointed because my issue has not been resolved by the BBB. In fact, the business in question has dared to charge me again for services that I requested to be canceled months ago.

My dispute was with Car Shield/ Auto Shield. They advised me that the claim may not have been legitimate as it occurred very close to the initial warranty maturity date. I advised them that I could only refer to the warning light that appeared and then I took it to the transmission shop. It was coincidental on the time but I was not a mechanic and had to rely on professionals. The car is an older 2003 Ford Explorer with moderate mileage. The reason I purchased the warranty on both my cars is the very fact they are older with mileage and I was very lucky that nothing had happened yet. Car shield advised me that a full tear-down to problem was required and I was responsible for the $5400 inspection with no guarantee of rebuild since it may have been a preexisting problem. How could I know of a preexisting problem? I contacted BBB and advise of my complaint. Within a few days Car Shield called and offered my transmission replacement in for a good customer relations offer. I have not heard back from BBB but I can only assume that they interceded on my behalf. I am extremely pleased with both BBB and Auto Shield/Car Shield. I will recommend both to all of my associates.

My complaint was not resolved. I'm out $124.00 from the Spirit Wld company. They never responded to the BBB nor to my 3 emails sent to that company. The BBB should at least let us know what next steps we can take to recoup our money that this company ripped off

The BBB should get zero stars. They can do absolutely nothing if your problem is with a non BBB accredited company. They send a letter, the company denies, they let you know they can't do anything about it & you're done. I doubt they can do anything for an accredited business either. They don't really seem to care.

The Better Business Bureau did not even make the business take responsibility for selling me a faulty product then all the money they charged me when they were supposed to stop charging me. This was a terrible experience. Basically all you did was forward the messages between me and that company but you never stepped in and asked any questions or used any consumer protection laws to help.

First when I initially tired to contact BBB in Denver there is no number listed, so I called a BBB office in another city, and they do not have access to technology to help them HELP PEOPLE -transferring a call to Denver is NOT an option, no one know the number, I had to wait, they had to look it up. Second, no expectations were set as far as how long this process takes, what it involves, what is supposed to happen. Third, when I called the Denver office to followup, the call back I received was from a male rep that did not care -his attitude was typical 'American' culture, dry, dismissive, mechanical cold responses, because he knew, as an 'American', he is not supposed to do more than the minimum of his job, make an effort to be alienating by being passive aggressively cold and bureaucratic. People contact BBB because they are screwed over by companies, and there is no other way to go. Yet at this point it is obvious that BBB had significant in the 20th Century, as NOW, for the past twenty years certainly, we are not allowed to hold companies accountable for anything in this fake country, regardless of who is 'in power' here -BBB is like an 'American', useless. We are not allowed to improve anything in 'America'.

The BBB came through for me even when my own Paypal people couldn't! They were fast and professional (as usual) and expedited and resolved my issue in short order. I highly recommend taking your consumer complaint to the BBB. It is easy to start the process and I think you will be happy with the result!

Someone got in contact with me right away from the BBB and I didn't even know that was part of the process. Delightfully surprised. They kept me informed on who had the ball, and the website was surprisingly easy to navigate.

First, there is no phone number to reach the BBB in Denver, so I had to call other offices in other states who have no access to technology that would allow them to transfer my call to the Denver office -typical for 'America'. Second, there were no expectations being sent, I had no update, no information on the process, no feedback was ever provided by BBB. Third, when I called to get info from BBB, I eventually received, not on the same day I called, and the rep has ZERO EMPATHY, just typical 'American' attitude of being smug, dismissive, dry, and effort to relate to what I went through with boost, no effort to HELP, no effort to ACT LIKE THEY CARED ABOUT HOLDING PEOPLE ACCOUNTABLE. Contacting BBB is like any other place in this fake country, the people do not have to work, they do not have to do more than the minimum their job 'requires'. I would never tell anyone that things like cooperation, work ethic, accountability, and merit have any value in 'America', and BBB does nothing to change this.

BBB is a waste of time. They simply just forward emails between you and the business. The business (WOW!) completely lied in their response to my complaint and the BBB stated they were satisfied with the business response and dismissed my complaint. I told the BBB that I was able to provide proof that WOW! was lying and the BBB wanted nothing to do with it. Complete waste of my time, they are not looking out for the consumer.

Had an unresolvable issue with "Viasat" not allowing me to cancel my service. Described this issue to BBB in detail. They were able to step in the middle and quickly and completely resolve my issue in a fair and equitable way. So thankful!

When I could get no satisfaction from the CBD company that scammed me, the BBB came through and resolved it for me right away. I got my money back and I felt that justice was done. I do wish there was some way to take down their bogus websites that draw people in to take their money. I can't recommend the BBB high enough for their help! Thank you!

I have always had high regards for the BBB as a neutral but helpful organization. What I have learned through this process is as long at the poor performing company responds to disputes (without regard to validity) they are rated positively by BBB and closed my case as resolved with no agreement on my end.

You hear my side, than the side of the business and conclude that the business has addressed the problems and you consider the matter resolved.
