I was happy with the resolution, but then the BBB closed out the complaint before the company held up to their end of the agreement. They closed it out as soon as I said I was satisfied with the resolution. I was satisfied with what was proposed, but it never came to fruition because BBB closed out the claim prior to me receiving what I was supposed to.

I contacted BBB about Frontier Airlines, and how my money or points toward another flight was not given back to me even though I was unable to fly DURING the nationwide shutdown in March 2020 (not my fault for not flying). BBB did nothing to help me - nothing.

The BBB has agents that are either untrained or ignorant of generally accepted accounting practices. Because the agent did not do his job, the offending property management company is not taking care of their fraudulent business practice of not providing timely and accurate invoices or work orders. They are create fraudulent transactions to bilk law abiding people of fraudulent fees. The $300 is stuck on my bill with no transparency and is fraudulent .

I was given what I felt was a fair resolution. I was told that I would be given a 48 hour credit to book my airplane, if I provided proof that I tried contacting Frontier Airlines to resolve the solution prior to contacting BBB. I did provide proof of my call log and the emails I sent. However, BBB closed out my case as soon as I accepted the resolution and then Frontier Airlines never held up to their end of the resolution that was proposed. I accepted the resolution thinking that the BBB would assure that both parties held up to their end of the agreement.

I recently filed a complaint through the BBB. After a few months went by I received an email wanting them to know how they did resolving my issue. They didn’t resolve my issue, that was the very first email I received from them since filing the complaint. So thank you BBB for nothing.

I don't believe my complaint was given the consideration it deserved. The BBB basically took the word of the company with which my complaint was with and did no investigation whatsoever. There wasn't any due diligence to investigate my claim whatsoever.

I have written to the BBB on a few occasions for different issues. And it has always helped me reach a solution to the issue at hand. I would definitely recommend if you can not reach an agreement or find help through any customer service even after reaching a supervisor try the BBB.

The Better Business Bureau of Denver was one of the top five most exceptional conflict resolution experiences ever, perhaps even 1 on my list, which was even more significant considering it was during covid. I spent 8 months trying to get the company to do the right thing. I then called the Attorney General's office in my state and they explained my only recourse was to sue the company in civil court, which wasn't really possible during covid. Left with no other choice, I connected with the Better Business Bureau and was extremely appreciative that after so much stress they could make things simple and easy. Within a short week, everything was resolved. BBB makes the world a much better place and fills in many gaps when the justice system falls short and lawsuits aren't feasible. I highly recommend BBB. Thank you so much. I'm eternally grateful.

I was unhappy with Sprint with our Roku tv, and cancelled the subscription in November. They continued to bill me for Nov and Dec. I complained to BBB, and within three days, Sprint reimbursed our card the amount of money, and have not charged us again,. Very Happy with this result.

I had a complaint against Culinary Software Services in Colorado. I had purchased a $2000 software package last year but unfortunately my laptop had a factory defect & needed to be replaced. CSS refused to send me a new link to re-download their software. I got BBB involved. All they did was send a notice to CSS. CSS never responded so BBB dropped it. No resolution.

UDR Management should not have a license to rent apartments in MA, because their customer services and how they don't clean the outside of the property is not great. When submitted a complaint...they don't tell the truth. Case in point...we had a snow storm in MA in December I waited until 12:30pm to see if they would remove snow from in front of my unit in order for me to get to my car...they did not remove the snow I remove the snow, because I needed access to my unit just case of an emergency. Do not lease from UDR Management.

They were very prompt and professional in handling my case, however the results were far less than desirable. I was of the impression that the BBB had the authority to hole businesses accountable for doing bad business. Unfortunately, this is not so. After only two correspondences with the business, they were given a bad review on the BBB website and then swept under the rug. So apparently if you're a business who's steeling from your customers, if you ignore things long enough, it's fair game. Freaking sad!

Better Business Bureau has closes my case #15032625. They have sided with Ease The Payne Window Cleaning Company, that has scratched up my windows. The only way to repair my windows, is by replacing them. the window company offered to remove the scratches, which is impossible. The Better Business Bureau has sided with the Company at fault. instead of a consumer that will not get windows replaced by Ease The Payne Windows. I will never go to BBB again, I would have been better off going through yelp,

BBB said I never responded to Epic's denial. I was never notified to respond so BBB issued a favorable resolution for Epic. Not good business practice.

after proving this company broke and damaged our belongings(some that can not be replaced) BBB will not even report them so others will not have their things torn to pieces and not have to answer for it. I didn't want money only for a report done on the company.

The BBB is able to offer no meaningful help if the business in question simply refuses to respond to its inquiries. Therefore if you see that prior complaints to BBB have been closed because of that reason, I'm not sure it worth your trouble filing anything with them .

I had an issue with an internet service provider (who hasn't) that signed me up for an account without my knowledge or approval. Contacting the company was of no use but when I filed my report with BBB, I received a response from the company the next day and they agreed to terminate the contract made under deceptive practices and to "retrain" the employee. I highly recommend using the BBB resolution services when all other methods have failed. Be sure to be as specific as possible in your description of the problem. It will definitely help them in your favor.

Having public consumer advocates on a neutral platform is necessary for a country that legally and financially favors businesses of all sizes over consumers. Whether the business is accredited or not with BBB, it's important to report and share the good, bad and indifferent consumer situations people face every day. Large companies often time aren't held responsible, nor do they acknowledge issues unless another business confronts them with a complaint. Whether your complaint results in a mutual resolution or not, allow consumers to bring companies to the table and review the facts. Skipping pointless calls, emails, and letters that often go unanswered and or being dissuaded by a company. Consumers have a right to hold companies accountable for exchanging goods for services and are not above reproach when they fail to uphold their own values. I have used the BBB for over 15 years across various states and have been given ample opportunity to raise my concerns. Every time their offices have played a role in successfully getting the attention of the companies in question. Take advantage of every tool and platform available for consumer rights and be your own advocate; let the BBB help you if they can.
