I called Armbrust because our Generator wasn't working and they scheduled a time to come out and take a look at it that afternoon. Punctual: Arrived within the time frame given. Dave did a great job. He found the issue right away (filter), but continued through with the process to check things out. Found low level on AC system that was filled and checked other issues and cleaned the AC (we sold our house to the buyer who arrived 30 minutes after he left so it was well worth the thorough check). I am new to the area and used Armbrust for the first time. They were terrific. I was particularly impressed by the professionalism of the entire organization. Scheduling was easy. I received e-mail confirmation and a call prior to the plumbers arrival. The plumber made a quick diagnosis of a complex problem inside of an interior wall. I was expecting $$$$ in cost and was pleasantly surprised when they finished in just 3.5 hours at a cost of less than a third of what I was bracing for. Adam arrived to do a sink replacement for us early on a Friday morning. I also wanted to consider making some changes to the old plumbing and connections. From the start, Adam explained everything that he was going to do, and he explained what could happen at each step, and what our options were if we encountered any unexpected problems. I really appreciated being informed and prepared.
Adam worked meticulously to remove my old sink without damaging my countertop - no easy task because it was caulked on there pretty good! I am amazed he was able to do it so cleanly. I guess it helps if you have all that experience.
We then discovered problem - the stainless steel sink I had bought would not quite fit the hole in the countertop. Disaster! But Adam calmly explained what we could do. He offered to halt the job and come back when I had the new sink. But since our local hardware store is so close, I just drove there and picked up a new one (based on Adam's excellent recommendations). While I was gone, Adam continued the necessary preparations and plumbing changes, so we didn't waste any time "running up the clock"
Adam made sure to put down protection for our floor and when he was done cleaning up at the end you wouldn’t know he was even here it so clean.
I also really appreciated that Adam was so friendly to our little dog Maddie, who is normally traumatized when "strangers" are in the house. But she took to Adam like she knew him her whole life and she enjoyed watching him work his magic.
In the end, I was extremely satisfied with the result. It looks great and I feel confident we have a great installation.
I have used Armbrust plumbing before and, based on this great experience working with Adam, I will definitely use them again. I would highly recommend anyone else who needs a plumber to give them a call and ask for Adam. Adam C. 04/16/14 |
