I highly recommend Action Plumbing & Heating to anyone with serious plumbing issues. Broken sewer pipes recently flooded my basement and Action had the problem fixed by the end of the day, despite having to dig in the backyard to replace the pipes. The staff was courteous, helpful and friendly. A great shout out to Ryan (I'm so thankful for the little extras in the upstairs bathroom), Wally and Brent. Thank you! My only complaint might be the length of time it took for someone to arrive following my initial 5am call - it was after 9:30am before the crew came and began their work although I understand they had jobs ahead of me. Was great. They saved us a lot of money and took their time to find the correct problem for the water heater. They saved us a lot of money so we would not have to buy another one. We are very pleased with Action Plumbing & Heating, they will be only the company we plan on using. Our house needed servicing, so I asked my Mom and Dad who they'd recommend, and they really like Action Plumbing & Heating, so we gave them a try. Larry Browne was our technician, and we really liked him. He was very nice, and took the time to explain things to me and show me what he was talking about. Our positive experience was reinforced even more so when we were going to try and get something fixed that Larry told us about and showed us. After his visit, Larry was so nice and honest that he even asked us if we had a new home purchase warranty. We really appreciated that since we didn't even think about that (that's embarrassing and our fault for being dummies). If he wouldn't have said something, we would've just done the servicing needs through him. Larry was so honest and considerate that he told us about the warranty even though that meant that he wouldn't be getting the service job, because home warranties use their own contracted companies. So we did the service call through our home warranty so that hopefully they would cover the cost since we already paid for the warranty. A different company came to our house for the service call, it wasn't a terrible experience, but it made me appreciate Larry a lot more. This other technician definitely knew a lot, but he definitely seemed to be in a rush. He told me a lot of stuff with all his air conditioning knowledge, which I didn't really understand, me not having an advanced knowledge of air conditioning. He just really seemed to be in a rush to get in and out and didn't take much time to explain things to me so that I would understand. It made me realize how much more pleasant Larry Browne was. I felt comfortable asking him all my questions and I felt like he really cared. The warranty didn't cover what we needed done, so now we will be calling Larry to have the work done. I called Action about a leaking valves in my basement. When Jim came he said it was a fire suppression system leaking and he didn't work on them. He said no charge for the service call. He was extremely pleasant, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Action team again. Jim called me back about a company that does do the work I need, and even gave me the phone number. I called Action plumbing on Sunday night our AC went out. Brent came out within about 30 minutes. He checked out the unit drove to Plain City to get a part and still had it repaired within 1 1/2 hours. He checked in a few hours later to make sure we were cooling off. Thank you Brent!! Ron came over to give us a quote on a new water heater. Turns out ours was rusted, and we decided to get a new one. He came the same day, installed the new one within a few hours, and left some nice foamy "swords" and a giant box for our three young sons to play with. We were happy. But things got better. The next morning, Ron showed up at our door again. He told us that he needed to install a four-inch pipe from our water heater up to the roof instead of the three-inch one we had now. So he went to work, busting out walls, chatting with our seven-year-old, climbing on the roof and in the attic in the 100-degree weather. He installed the four-inch pipe, and because we'd already paid he didn't charge us anything extra. It took all. day. long. Ron was unfailingly kind to our sons, he did an excellent installation (we can do dishes, run two baths, and wash clothes now!), and he acted with integrity throughout the job. John was excellent. From the beginning he was direct in finding the problem. He listened to my concerns and gave excellent feedback. He went out of his way to speak with Bountiful Power to identify where our meter was located (off the house and by the curb). He even fought a hive of wasps in order to solve our problem. He was courteous and had no problem explaining the issue to three different people as they came home one at a time. In the end he solved the problem with a temporary fix and was going to put together a bid for a long-term solution. Very satisfied with John's service and would recommend him anytime. Action Plumbing is a life-saver! My A/C went out, and Action Plumbing was the only company willing to come out that same day and fix the problem. Larry, the service tech, walked us through the problem, explained to us our options, and then efficiently resolved the issue.
