I contacted Action Plumbing Heating & Electric on a Sunday due to a problem with the filter for our furnace and air conditioning. I spoke with the technician/supervisor on call, Matt Clyde, who went far beyond the call of duty and immediately came out to our house which was an hour away from him, plus as we are a customer of Action, he didn't charge us to come out. He checked the light on our filter unit and then thoroughly took our furnace apart to inspect it and discovered several cracks, which could allow gas/carbon monoxide to escape into our home and was very unsafe. He spent over an hour with us discussing our various options and had us all taken care of with a new and safe furnace the very next morning. Matt went way out of his way to help us, especially on a Sunday, and did an outstanding job. Billy is a stand up guy. He's a very knowledgeable plumber that doesn't try to beat around the bush and or try to sell you on something not necessary. He came to our home, showed me exactly what was wrong, gave an honest assessment and did exactly what needed to be done in a very timely manner. He is a professional and doesn't waste time trying to sell you some sort of NASA space like piping. He's legit and right to the point. Ive had bad luck with plumbers. Larry came to our home to take a look at our A/C unit. He was punctual, respectful, and very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and was very informative. He was very pleasant and gave us a bid that was only a few dollars different from the first one we had received. He thought about it for a minute and then said he wanted to go into the attic and see if there was anything that would make the job difficult. He found that he would need more gas pipe than he had originally bid. The first man did not do this. We were glad that Ron went the extra mile to get the bid correct, so there were no surprises for us. When he installed the gas line, we were very impressed. He had thought about the job and knew what he needed. He was very professional and showed expertise in his work. We felt good about having him in our home. They were friendly and prompt with setting an appointment. I would use them again. I can't speak for the price or quality of the work. We paid for a $33 tune up on both our heaters. They seem to run better. The technician also said we have a bunch of problems that need to be fixed. This is where I can't speak for price point because they are the first bid we have had. Derrick and his assistant both were courteous to the max. They patiently endured the over-the-top greetings of several children on the premises, took care to keep the physical area un-scarred carrying equipment and such, cleaned their work area better than I had ever seen it, and turned out the lights and locked up behind themselves when they found me asleep at the end of their very long work day. They were especially committed to finishing my job because of kids in the house and could not have been more concerned about my knowing and being comfortable with what was happening. These guys were so great! It was easy to schedule my appointment for work that needed to be done, and it was a lot of work. We needed someone to fix furnace wiring and they Action Plumbing sent TJ out while he was there we asked for our annual maintenance in which he found we didn't have the right duct work and it was causing trouble with the motor, We felt that it should have been done right when the furnace was installed, TJ went to boss and got it done for us for free thanks to him we resolved the problem to our satisfaction.
