Great experience today, they came to get Ducks Cleaned it was amazing education from them how to care for my home too. they were fast and efficient. Jake G. and Dominick N. came in as a team as they speedily cleaned the Ducks, and clean-up after. Wow! Action lived up to their name. I called and got an appointment for the next day. TJ was quick, personable, and trustworthy. Jimi was very helpful in servicing our furnaces. I was worried that one was suffering efficiencies because of recent construction dust. He confirmed that it was quite dirty, and showed me the dust. He took out the blower motor and fan, acid washed and rinsed the unit. We had a second unit serviced, which he said was quite clean. Jimi was personable, polite and answered all my questions. My furnace stopped working and Action was quick to send Larry out to my rescue. He was very knowledgeable about what to look for and what it would take to fix the problem. When Larry arrived I threw him a curve ball saying we had 2 furnaces instead of one. One in attic and one in crawlspace but it had a ladder to go down to it. He said I have a curveball of my own I have bad knees and I might not be able to get between those 2 inch rafters. He was glad we did not have that type of set up. He had plenty of room to work in the attic and in the crawl space he could stand up under the house. It all worked out fine and he checked both furnaces and both wer working fine no problems. Our house was freezing cause our furnace went out so we called Action. They sent Jeff out in less than an hour and he immediately diagnosed the problem. He went over all our options and was very helpful. Within a few hours our whole furnace had been replaced and was working great. We used to keep the heater at 73 but now 70 feels plenty toasty. He discovered both my furnaces need to be replaced, offered advice, but was not pushy for me to buy new appliances on the spot. It has been a fairly mild winter, but of course just as snow and a cold front hit Davis County, our furnace quit and we woke up to a very cold house. With a house full of small children and pets we decided to call the emergency line of another HVAC company. By Monday we had not received a call back and temps were continuing to drop. Action Plumbing was recommended by a friend/coworker, so we gave them a call. They sent the two Dan's that afternoon. We were given options to repair or replace. We opted to replace with a more efficient furnace. Dan and Daniel went to work. They worked the rest of the day, through dinner, until 9:30 at night to ensure we had heat before they left. Daniel was back early the next morning to finish up and to install an air purifying system that we had decided to add. He spent the whole day, made sure everything was installed and running perfectly.We can't believe how nice our new system is. It is so quiet, efficient, and warm! We've had a real mild winter, we woke up this morning to a snowy snowy day and the house was freezing. Matt came out this afternoon, he found the problem and told us we needed a new furnace. He ordered up a new 80% efficient furnace and is going to have it put in tomorrow. He explained everything to me and let me know about the warranties and how Action plumbing and heating will continue to service us. Matt was very professional and knowledgeable. This group of guys were great. They were all very helpful as this was my first time ever buying a furnace they took time to explain what the different options were and what they ment. And the guys that installed the furnace(Matt and Dominick) worked non-stop from about 1 pm to 7 pm after already doing a job earlier in the day to get heat going in my house. It was snowing outside and very cold over night so me and my family were very appreciative for this. I'd recommend them to any one with not one bit of hesitation. Larry B. was very courteous and professional and we were very pleased with his service. The communication about an earlier scheduled appointment for February 23rd could have been better, we were told that someone would come after 12pm, but heard nothing again until after 7pm. I prefer a narrower window for the time of arrival or more frequent communication updates about the expected time of arrival. My day started horrible; no heat and daycare children arriving anytime. I called Action Plumbing, heating air & electric explained everything and the urgency of the situation. Matt called and said he was on the way. He walked me through every process of what he was doing and gave me a quote. The safer and better deal was a new heating unit and Matt made that process easy also. He stayed here until the techs arrived making sure everything went great. I have a service agreement with Action and I was having my furnace serviced by Matt one of the HVAC experts. He was very professional and honest with me. He showed me that my furnace had cracks in the heat exchanger. He quoted two different options. One to replace the heat exchangers and one for the replacement of the furnace all together. The furnace replacement was the cheaper option and decided to go with that. One day later and they are coming to,or row morning to install the new furnace. I will personally go with Action for future needs based on the professionalism displayed by Matt and how it seemed like he cared more about taking care of my family then just trying to sell me a product.Thanks Matt,Casey Matt C. 02/26/15 |

Scott Paul is awesome! My house was freezing, I had to get to work. He called w/ a 1/2 hour notice to meet me there so I could go in to work instead of waiting until he arrived. I needed to be back to work by a certain time, he had my furnace up and running enabling me to get back to work when I needed to.
