Tomas Cruz did an exceptional job servicing my air conditioner on 9/8/2015. He was professional, efficient, and very helpful. He explained what repairs I needed and what repairs were optional. He had my air conditioner back in working order in no time, and he gave we great tips on maintenance going forward. I am very, very grateful to Thomas' attention to detail because he discovered a gas leak at the register outside my house, and I had no idea it was happening. I got it fixed by the gas company immediately and I am very grateful that Thomas went above the call of duty to report a dangerous gas leak to me. Mr. Paul McElheny has performed excellent job providing the bi-annual services for my new heating and cooling system. He has a good manner as a professional always carried his shoe covers in and out of the house unbeknownst to me and he took the time to inspect and work on the system, though the temperature inside of the attic must have been uncomfortably high, he also made sure to ask me if there were issues that I may experience – he was thorough and very courteous throughout performing his job. This is a stark contrast to most technicians who usually come and leave so quickly without communicating (since I do not know much about the heating and cooling system and I am at the mercy of their professional integrity). He also asked for the filter and kindly replaced them – he clearly has helped me beyond and above "the call of his duty" which I appreciated very much. I had to deal with another handyman on the same day who also visited the house almost same time to replace my food disposal system so I was busy running around the house. Mr. Paul McElheny has shown good professional integrity, honesty and caring manner in providing excellent services to instill a sense trust in the job that an ARS service person provides. This all make me feel very confident in ARS services as the Company Motto aptly describes the quality of services that they promise to give "United by Exceptional Service." This is not only in words but in deed" as exemplified by CRS employee, Mr. Paul McElheny who seems to be so dedicated to their work. Called and service was quickly scheduled. My technician, Thomas Williams, was incredibly professional, thorough, and explained to me each task he was completing. He answered all my questions about how to setup my house during summer and winter. By the end of his visit I felt like I should have paid twice the rate. The visit was more of a consultation but Gerald was very helpful in identifying a couple of problems with my toilet that I was able to fix. He gave me an estimate for a new toilet if I decide to go that route but he did not push me into getting new one. I should like to express my appreciation for the remarkable services rendered by Tomas C. on behalf of your company. After arriving home at 7:30 on the evening of 7/21/2015 to a dangerously hot condo; my thermostat was stuck at 99o F and blowing hot air. I contacted your company between 8:00 and 8:30 and was told by the very kind and compassionate dispatcher that someone would be out in about 90 minutes. Tomas C. arrived about that time and asked if I had the heat on to which I replied no. He started working immediately to determine why my AC unit wasn’t operating properly, that meant several trips to the roof of my condo building which houses 18 AC units, back to my unit, back to his truck, etc. The good news is that after ~2 ½ hours and a new capacitor he had my AC unit working! I am so appreciative of Tomas’s work ethic and commitment to your company; it turns out that when he got the call to service my AC, he was in Laurel headed home after a full day’s work (I’m sure). I will forever keep your company at the top if my list for future home-related repairs. It is also my wish that Tomas C. receive special consideration for a ‘job well done’. As a federal government worker, that can take the form of an on the spot cash award, or 59 minutes of time off (allowed by OPM-Office of Personnel Management rules). I have used ARS in the past and have always found their technicians to be courteous and knowledgeable. Gerardo T. came to my house to service my air conditioner unit before him there were 2 Techs that came and did a poor job they told me the unit needed to be replaced and that they it needed Refrigant because it was leaking out. 2 lbs of refrigerant was put in and still the unit is not working . Gerardo came in went upstairs took apart the units and found it was filled with water which was cutting the switch off, he showed us step by step what he was doing how clogged the pipe was filled with debris rinsed it replaced another pipe and showed us how to clean it when we see it getting filled with water. My Husband and I were absolutely 100 % satisfied with the work that Mr. Gerardo Thomas did and would highly recommend him if you want a job done correctly. If I ever had to call your company again I would request that you please send Gerardo Thomas for the job and not the other Techs I don't even remember their names. Lee did a very thorough job, He had to check both ac and heat because the thermostat was not working and re-wired it . This is the second time a technician was sent out...the thermostat was replaced but did not fix the problem by previous technician. The 1st technician fixed to work on heat and the second technician fixed to work on a/c, but neither previous technician fixed the thermostat and system to work either (heat or A/C) when switched.
