Frank arrived on time. I showed him the old dime sized hole in my ceiling. He explained the possibilities and methodically tested every possible source. He talked me thru the processes as he worked. This was especially reassuring as most plumbers talk down to women in a condescending manner. I could tell he was a seasoned pro as he used deductive reasoning to rule out all plumbing possibilities. He clearly documented what he did in writing collected his service fee and was on his way. I had stressed the night before about this service call. Gerardo Thomas and his colleague were on time with a great greeting and ready to go to work. I showed them where the units were and they went to work. ARS pulled through for us when our A/C went out right before 4th of July weekend. We called and within two hours a technician, Jonathan Tucker, was at our place. They kept us posted every step of the way on who would be coming, their status and ETA. Jonathan called on his way over to help us troubleshoot so he could hit the ground running when he got here. So if the Option of removing stars existed or if we could shut down businesses ARS would be at the top of the list.This fraudulent company sold me a 3 ton heat pump for a 1000 square ft apt 9 years ago.It was the only size they had in stock that day.Sold too me by Mr Brickman who is now a manager at the company
I had issues with the Carrier system they sold me because it was too big,cycled too often ,and raised my monthly energy bill 70 dollars the month after installation.....
This according too 5 different companies
moving forward, they have what appears to be a 300%
Mark up on everything....too replace a compressor they charge 2200$ in labor even when the part is under warranty where others will charge 1500$.
My experience
I got caught in their mess of incompetence......they said they would fix my unit while I was on vacation so I left my keys with them.Nothing happened that week.....I called, 2 days later they show up with a compressor, oops wrong diagnosis, the capacitor, Taking out refrigerant,( not capturing it) adding refrigerant, over and over......replacing item after item?when the circuit board should have been the 1st thing changed....staying at my house till 12:30am(good perseverance), but a 2nd day? And 3rd day ?and then saying I need a whole new system-stealing $600 from me and leaving me with a broken a system that doesn't work?Then too top it off sending your salesperson too give me the highest quote on a whole new system.......higher then Moran,Gusky,Ameritec .....forgot too mention that their management completely forgot about my system not working put me at the back of their line twice.
This company has trouble holding on too people because they have difficulties passing drug tests.Their management,if you want too call it that is the worst I've experienced in any field
In conclusion, I will be suing the company in small claims court too get my $600 back and plan on going to the TV media too tell my experience.............after seeing the response below.....Corporate ARS is as much out of touch as management in Laurel.Better business bureau should shut these people down Sunil K. 07/22/16 |

AC broke today, 90 outside. Called ARS & was put on the schedule for today. Did not have any hope of anyone coming out, but Jonathan Tucker showed up at 8:30pm. He knew what was wrong right away & had our AC back on cooling the house in no time at all.

We had some issues with initial install of our central AC (wife said ARS' slogan should be "We get it right the third time.." )
Jonathan was the third technician to visit the house and I am glad they sent him. I let him know driveway sealcoat guys were also scheduled for same day as him. He took care of the issues right away, installing air-handler AC disconnect and two surge protetors. Jonathan also replaced thermostat and set up new wifi capability.

Buddy and his support performed excellently, providing detailed information before, during and after installation. Buddy assisted me on a phone call with the sales rep who failed to include equipment on the original paperwork. Buddy documented the need to correct this oversight ASAP, however, the Company has not contacted me about this issue. Very good service. We have been with them for many years. Latest time was June 8, 2016. The technician (Don L) showed up early due to a cancellation earlier. They informed us that he could come early and asked permission.
When Don L showed up, he was courteous, friendly, and worked efficiently. This was a semiannual inspection, covered under a service contract. Don L inspected the mechanical and electrical components of the heat pump, cleaned some piping and explained what he was doing.

Mr. ****** ******** was extremely polite, when I explained the situation immediately he knew what the problem was. He checked the heat pump and gave me his diagnosis and quoted the price for the service. He performed the repair in a timely manner. Any time I have a problem and call ARS I will request him. I would have gave your company a 10, but your service department refused to do the complimentary annual service because according to them my service had expired. My installation date was 22 April 15, they said my plan expired 1 March 16. How can a plan expire before the installation takes place? So I had to hire Blue Dot to come over and inspect my system. It was Blue Dot who discovered my coil was leaking and that I was missing 3 lbs of Freon. If ARS would have came when they were supposed to they would have discovered the defect, Instead, I had to pay $39.00 for an inspection that should have been free. And by the way, I received a notice from ARS that my policy was expiring ... 1 week after my policy expired. Classy! The reason I gave the high marks I did is because ARS owned their mistake and your technician was awesome. 05/31/16 |
