Having Paul from ARS do my service on my ancient AC system was actually a pleasant experience! He was efficient and diagnosed the problem quickly. He advised a relatively easy and inexpensive fix, cleaned up after himself, and explained things fully. I now have a new HVAC company.

THOMAS WAS A GREAT TECHNICIAN. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND FRIENDLY AND WAS ABLE TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM WITH MY AC UNIT WHICH WAS UNDER WARRANTY. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS WITH THE SCHEDULING DEPARTMENT. I CALLED TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT OF FRIDAY AND THEY SCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT FOR SUNDAY FROM 0800-1300; HOWEVER, IT WAS NOT UNTIL I CALLED THAT THEY ENDED SENDING A TECH OUT TO HELP ME. IT IS LIKE THEY FORGOT ABOUT MY APPOINTMENT AND ENDED UP PLUGGING ME IN AT THE END OF THE DAY. STILL I'M GRATEFUL FOR TOM AND HIS PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. THANKS.

ARS / Rescue Rooter in Laurel has consistently exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them for your HVAC needs. They initially replaced my cooling and heating systems in my townhouse with speed and good service. Today, their technician Thomas Williams came by to do the system check up and was very informative on what he was checking, what he was doing and how things worked as I am always curious when it comes to technology. I really appreciate this company and its workers and encourage you to use them. Good service, great techs and good product. Hard to find these days!

Very upfront and willing to explain everything he did to me. Usually I go upstairs and let the tech do their thing but he actually preferred I hung around and learned about my system. Will definitely ask for him by name next time.

Great service from a great technician Luis * with Ars. He explained what he was doing and throughly explained how to take good care of our ac. It was raining and he as very careful Not to drag mud into the house, first tech we ever had that explained what we needed to know. We would keep Ars to get a good guy like him working on our AC .

The service technician was outstanding. I am disappointed, however, at ARS's supply QA. The part that he installed ended up being faulty--no fault of his own--and caused my system to totally shut down within two hours of him leaving. He had to come back that day to fix it. At first, dispatch refused to send someone out the same day to fix the problem that was caused by the faulty part. I persisted. Overall I found everyone to be professional; however, I shouldn't have to fight to get someone to come back to my house and fix an issue that only manifested after one of your parts was installed. That is a simple training issue that can be quickly fixed.

Yonas was very police, professional, efficient and personable. He was initially greeted at the front door by my growling and intimidating rottie; he quickly made friends with her, winning her over in about 10 seconds and then went about his business. He was not pushy on the add-ons, but was informative and knowledgeable. I have been very satisfied with ARS, the unit that they sold me, and today's unit check-up. I will recommend this company to others.

I am giving three stars due to an inability to really rate the company itself, and therefore a desire to not artificially affect their average. The technician absolutely deserves five stars, individually. ARS / Rescue Rooter (Laurel) HVAC technician Joseph M. was outstanding. I am writing this review at his request, which I suspect is a company policy, but: he deserves recognition for a job well done for two specific reasons. 1. He was generous with his time and knowledge, allowing me to tag along as he performed his multi-point inspection and explaining what he was doing as he went. He gave me tips on things like ensuring my HVAC drain line remains clear, and showed me (via on-site photo) the condition of my blower coil. 2. He was honest and forthright. For example, when the temperature drop across my blower didn't appear to be as high as desired, he made every effort to find the best measurement points to ensure an accurate assessment. Those two things alone are enough to drive repeat business from me. Unfortunately, I do not have a dire need for service above and beyond the annual inspection I scheduled, so I cannot rate the company beyond his performance. I have some misgivings about the company's menu pricing method that he displayed. Additionally, the monthly service plan did not mathematically appear to be worth it: $16 per mo. x 12 mo. is essentially $200 per year for two inspections and a meagre percentage off services if services are required (example: roughly $30 off $250 refrigerant recharge). At the $59 per inspection rate, unless your system is failing regularly and expensively (at which point it becomes more cost effective to outright replace it), the service plan will not pay for itself. I should note that he honored the $10 coupon on my Home Depot filter purchase, so the whole inspection came to $49 -- which I, in my limited experience, did not find unreasonable.

Jonathan performed our spring maintenance check on the air conditioning unit today, May 4, 2016. He was very thorough and professional. He did have a couple of recommendation which we will consider. All in all I was quite pleased with the checkup. Jonathan also is a friendly individual and very competent.

Joseph came to our house within an hour of being notified. His appearance was neat and very professional. I explained our problem with having no a/c and off he went to the outside unit. He immediately checked the dual capacitor and found it to be the overall problem. He replaced the bad unit and the outside unit took off running...we had a/c!! Joseph knew what he was doing and did it well. I might note that this capacitor was said to be out of tolerance in our spring maintenance routine. Why wasn't it changed out then? Again, Joseph is an outstanding employee and ars can be very proud of him.

My technicians were Gerardo T. and John N. Both were very pleasant and professional young men. They installed a Lennox system, complete replacement, inside and out, of a very old York system. Gerardo and John were completely knowledgeable of the job at hand and were very responsive to any questions and concerns. We spent an entire Saturday together and got to know one another as best you could while completing a very detailed installation. Because of the service received from these two fine young men, there is no doubt that I would and will call on ARS again if needed.

Jonathan T was sent today to trouble shoot after two previous visits for the spring check-up of my A/C unit. Jonathan approached the problem as a great detective would locating the issue. He has come up with a plan, and parts should be ordered. Looking forward to Jonathan T.'s return to make all working fine. ARS Laurel is extremely lucky to have Jonathan T. on their staff.

Mr Jonathan Tucker came in today and checked out our AC Unit and Furnace he was very knowledgeable of the product we have and very knowledgeable and experienced in general with prouducts and services and explained everything in detail so i could understand. He is a great, honest and sincere down to earth guy and has great customer service and even helped with suggestions on how to make our air quality better after i told him my wife has allergies, and asthma he did not try to sell any products to me like other guys from other companies do, he was very professional, respectful, easy going and easy to talk to, and you could tell it was genuine and he was not just doing it because it his job. 5 star rating for the gentleman. I was lured by the TV offer of a low price check up, and disgusted by the pressure Yonas attempted to apply to sell us additional services costing hundreds more. To add insult to injury, he left muddy footprints all over the patio and tracked dirt into the house. I was a customer of ARS for many years. Now I remember why I left in the first place.
