I had central air conditioning install in my home today. The work was completed on time, all the necessary equipment was install perfectly and functions explained to me. Very impress with attention to details while installing my system. Very Happy.

Luis Vizcarrondofargas-El Called ahead and arrived on time. Expertly doubled checked the heat pump trouble. best cost option to fix 1 year 11 1/2 month unit installed by another company that only gave 1 year free service. All his options were LESS than other company. tried to sell me a service plan. old heat pump had reversing valve replaces 3 times on 1 year free service plan. ARS will replace outside unit with a new unit at a greatly reduced cost and give 2 years service cost free. I MAY RETHINK about the continue service plan Thanks to Luis more so than the sales person who was also outstanding!!

Jonathan is terrific. Courteous and knowledgeable. He was here to do my furnace seasonal check, and was very thorough, showing me how to clean a drainage tube that was "gunking up". He didn't pressure me to do any unnecessary service in the future. I couldn't be more pleased.

I looked up gas hot water tanks after my install and saw that the most expensive one was $700.00 and was charged $1600.00 with no break down of what the tank cost and the labor. Talked with other plumber's who said the job at most should have taken two and a half hours, mine took five hours. Also other plumber's asked if the overflow tank was installed which is a code for new installs. Nope, and still waiting on a response from ARS as to why this was not done. I also feel that when they are dealing with a woman the price is always more.

I want to commend David D. from ARS for a job well done! Our house was built 15 years ago and John C. D. (which eventually became ARS) did all the original plumbing and HVAC work. We have always relied on them to maintain, fix, and/or upgrade our plumbing and HVAC infrastructure, and we have always been happy with their work, as ARS technicians are always competent, thoughtful, and courteous. Now, once in a while, one has the added pleasure of seeing a familiar face, and this was the case yesterday when David Dowding came to replace our garbage disposal. Thanks again, David. ARS is lucky to have you!

I am very pleased with the service I received today 2/13/16. The service guy came earlier then expected and I was so happy to see that I was at the top of the window that everyone hates to have, especially on a weekend. They are not like the cable company come at the very end of that window of time you are given. The service man was so polite and very knowledgeable about my systems and talked everything through with me. I loved the fact he made sure I understood everything that needed to be done. He also assisted me with changing my filters and explaining how often they should be changed. In a nut shell I would like for Mr. Gerardo T. to return because I put a lot of trust in his service so much I purchased the warranty service plan. Good service is so hard to come by these days. Thank you Mr. T. and ARS / Rescue Rooter Laurel. You made a loyal customer out of me.

I was first pleased to be able to reach help when the problem occurred! It is very helpful that ARS provides 24 hour service! My technician, Luis V. arrived and stayed for several hours to be sure my furnace returned to providing heat. It needed a part and he was able to get it and install it the next day. Repair is costly, and he helped me see that my lack of proper maintenance can cause this to happen. He was very kind and patient and very clearly showed me the "must do" for repair and the recommendations to keep my furnace in top running order. Luis was committed to provide the best service and advice and confirmed my faith in decent people. I will be contacting them for future service with my HVAC needs!

Thanks to Paul and Kris they worked diligently, to repair my furnace. These technician had a great deal of knowledge, they showed teamwork. What was admired the most was the can do never quit attitude. The entire experience with ARS was great I called and was given a time window. The company then called and said they could arrive earlier something that I have not experienced from any company. I cannot say enough about the professionalism that ARS showed and would recommend them highly.

I love the service i received from the call centre to the servicer who show up at my house, he answer all my questions and provide additional information that is of help. The service man even call up the manufacturer to get history of my system. i recommend and will continue to use this company.

The big snow left our outdoor heat pump unit inoperable. ARS was able to respond in a very timely manner. ARS technician Lee Z. arrived promptly as scheduled. He thoroughly went through the many possible causes of our inoperable unit. He took the time to explain his testing and results. He meticulously checked all system components to identify the cause of the problem. He restored our system to normal operation. Lee was very courteous and professional, we are very pleased with the service visit.

First, they got here earlier than they originally scheduled me for. Second "Yonas" was very professional, courteous, and answered all my questions. My heat pump compressor chose the night before the onset of the Jan. 2016 'Blizzard' to die on me. So the news was not good, but I got it sooner rather than later. I may end up getting my new heat pump (mine is 16 years old) from ARS based on my experience with them today (January 22nd). The only reason I did not give them the 5th star is because they couldn't really help me, although under the circumstances no one really could. I would not hesitate to recommend them though.

Had ARS to come out to repair HVAC. Tripping my breaker, the tech tried many ways to fix the issue was very impressed by his efforts. Manager TOM and tech determined my breaker needed replacement. Tech bypassed a portion of my now less then 2 year old LENNOX unit to about 50% capacity while they found a replacement breaker. Needless to say company altered my unit and is refunding my money but maintains they can't find a breaker so.....................they altered my unit TEMPORARILY UNTIL THEY COULD FINISH THE JOB. ARS thinks that by refunding the money negates responsibility after potentially voiding my warranty! Ask yourself do you want this type of hassle? Problem still pending!

Sunil K. is an exceptional technician. The humidifier attached to my central heating system was not working. A number of technicians tried to repair it however in the long run they were not successful. The system would work for a day and then stop once again. Sunil, spent hours undoing the "repairs" that previous technicians had tried. He succeeded where all the others failed. His professionalism, diligence and patience with me through out was unparalleled. It's my intention to always ask for Sunil whenever I have issues with my HVAC system.

With the cold weather, our sump pump stopped working. I called ARS and within an hour, Frank was at my door to inspect our pump. He was knowledgeable, diagnosed that the pump was in working order and provided tips for me to fix the frozen pipes at ground level. Before he could write up the ticket, the pump was working. No charge for the visit and we will definitely be calling Frank at ARS for our future plumbing and HVAC needs!

I agreed to purchase a whole house humidifier for my 2.5 year old Infinity system (which ARS had been marketing to me for the entire 2.5 years). Jean Paul was super nice and friendly and appeared to be competent. However, from the beginning we had issues with the humidifier. First of all, the installation appears amateurish with exposed wiring, loads of taping, the whole in the venting too large (patched with more tape). No instructions or cautions were supplied following the installation. Several days after, I woke to a minor flood in the basement and no heat. The technician who responded got the system working, but told us that when the temperatures were below freezing, we should turn the humidifier off. This was completely unacceptable in view of the fact that the reason we got the humidifier was to offset the dry air created by the forced air heat. The problem repeated a week later. A follow up call made to ARS management (Tom) who was super understanding and promised corrective action and to send a technician. Another review will be posted regarding that technician. Note: BBB has combined the 2 Customer Reviews submitted by this consumer: I wrote another review recently - this is a follow up. I had a whole house humidifier installed about 3 weeks ago. It has been nothing but issues since installation (which I was not totally happy about). After a call to ARS management (Tom) and very helpful customer service, Gerardo was sent. He corrected the problem, got my heat going and provided a through explanation and answered all our questions. He did top notch work very professionally.

Most recently, we had our last 2 routine system checks (August & December 2015) with Jean Paul Lok. Prompt, knowledgeable service. Always professional and informative. Took the time to explain to me how my two-zone system interacted. One of our favorite technicians. But even before that, I renewed my service contract with Sharonne. Always pleasant, efficient.
