Jose and Richard were GREAT! They stayed late until the job was done well past normal business hours. Besides replacing our furnace and AC, they also corrected what the original builder had screwed up. Thanks!

Leon was not just a walking technical manual, he was so patient and listened to things I had observed about the newly installed heat pump that kept malfunctioning. The four previous technicians (not to mention the installers) hadn't caught it even though they also were very polite and tried to be helpful. Although whenever they all left it was functioning correctly, it wasn't long when it would go haywire. Leon nailed it! (In a matter of speaking). I used to be in customer service, but I could never compare to Leon. Lastly, I was always afraid to call ARS back but they were always SO considerate and helpful.

Leon figured it out immediately upon arriving, explained everything in simple terms, very patient in answering my questions, explained as he went. Was familiar with smart thermostats. Wish I could take him back to Alaska with me! ARS is the best company ever!

On Friday I had my HVAC system inspected / maintence performed by another company. They identified an issue and when I called ARS they had a service technician out within 2 hours. The service tech did not find the same issue and was unable to replicate it. I greatly appreciated the professionalism Leon demonstrated and was pleased with his assessment.

The technician called before arriving and arrived during the window of allocated time. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He serviced our units in a timely manner and explained the details of all recommendations. I look forward to my next experience with ARS.

This is the second time that I have used ARS in two years. Both experiences were excellent. I highly recommend them. This time, the heater went out. The tech (Joseph M.) was on-time, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it right away. He even suggested that I get a maintenance package that they offer -- they'll come out and test/clean your system in the spring and fall. If you're in need of HVAC repair or service, don't hesitate to call ARS.

ARS Rescue Rooter is a very good company with outstanding Technicians. Mr. J. Tucker was very professional and kind and knew exactly what to do to solve the problem. He explained each step that was need and took time to make certain the job was correct and I the customer was satisfied. ARS seem to make cetain customers are satisfied and the work is done in a safe and proffessional manner. I will use this company in ther future. There is nothing like a company that believe in customer statisfaction. Thank you Mr. Tucker for being friendly and making certain the heat worked in my home and for giving me pointers on the equipment.

Jonathan Tucker did an exceptional job repairing our heat. He was kind and respectful from the time he got to our house until he left. I have been a customer of ARS for at least 8 years (since about 2008) and I have been pleased with the customer service I received until about two weeks ago. One of your employees, Rodney Simmons, came out to complete several plumbing jobs for me this year in 2016...one on behalf of ARS in January I believe. I was completely satisfied with that initial job. However, after this particular plumbing job I was offered personal plumbing services from Rodney at a lower cost than what he claimed ARS was charging me. So instead of calling ARS the next time I had a plumbing issue...which was more like April 2016...I called Rodney Simmons to come back to complete this new job and all subsequent plumbing jobs for the rest of this year 2016. The latest request was this past November 2016 for a toilet repair job that he never completed but accepted payment for. Because I had trusted Rodney, due to the quality of work he had always performed on my plumbing jobs, I just KNEW this simple toilet repair job had been completed ...as he stated...on his way out of the door. I did not bother check to see if the toilet actually flushed... before he left my house... and before I paid him like I normally did before he left my house. Instead, I took his word that the job had been completed and that my toilet was flushing. After I paid him with a personal check for $150...he left my house...and asked me to call him if I had any more plumbing issues in the future. When I went upstairs to check on my toilet and to see that it was flushing (I had no reason to think it wouldn't flush!)...it still had black water in it...and it would not flush. I called Rodney back immediately to inform him that my toilet was not flushing. He came back to my house, assessed the toilet, and he still was not able to get it to flush. He told me that he needed "an extra part" and that he would come back the follwing weekend after the Thanksgiving holiday to repair it. I called him after the Thanksgiving holiday and spoke with him. He told me that he was not able to make it...but to check with him the following weekend. Meanwhile I learned, via my bank statement, that Rodney had cashed the $150.00 check I had given him for the work I thought he completed. The following weekend I called Rodney and was told by him once again that he could not make it due to "transportation problems"...and he said for me to follow up with him this current weekend... which I have... only to be directed to his voicemail and a nonreply to the text message I sent him. So in response to his poor customer service I am writing this review to let ARS and everyone else know how disappointed I am with the service I received by your employee. Of course Rodney Simmons was providing me personal plumbing services outside of ARS...but he is still an ARS employee and I wanted ARS to be aware of the treatment I am receiving by one of your employees. I have since made an appointment with ARS today and will request a new service technician when I am contacted by ARS tomorrow. I have been pleased with ARS until now and will still work with ARS provided I can be given a new service technician. My personal rating of this employee is poor . If there is a way for me to get my money back I would. But since this was an arrangement between me and Rodney I don't see a refund happening. The bad part is that my toilet is still in need of repair after almost 3 weeks now. That is unacceptable. Hopefully ARS will be able to send someone else out to complete the toilet repair job this upcoming weekend. Thank you...Melanie.

Our furnace stopped producing heat on Sunday with temperature in the 30's. On Monday at 7am we called ARS. They took our information and scheduled a service technician to come out that afternoon. ARS called back and said they could be there in 30 min. The technician Jonathan Tucker arrived on time. I described the problems we were having with the Carrier furnace. He went right to work with a checking procedure of things. Tucker cleaned the flame sensor. Furnace started up and produced heat but only for 20 seconds. After other test it was determined that the control board was bad. Tucker explained what was happening and said he will order a new control board from Carrier. He checked over my Carrier warranty and checked with ARS to make sure that the cost of parts & labor was covered. It was covered. Tucker pushed to get the parts as fast as possible knowing we had no other heat in the house. Tucker called and setup an appointment for 6 am on Wednesday. The furnace is working great now. Tucker always arrived on time. He was friendly, efficient, helpful and always explained what he was doing. ARS staff always called us when the technician was on his way. I will always call ARS for heating problems and recommend them.

I paid ARS Plumbing Division Manager, Bakri Brown, $4,180. in June 2012 to "replace ALL of the galvanized pipe from 1928 and all the copper piping from the 1950's with PVC plastic. David Surratt showed up at 9 am for an 8 am appointment, worked all day amd charged me an additional $4,300. to switch-out most of the remaining old pipe in an old house I'm trying to take care of. He left without hooking-up the bathroom sink - as he wrote on the work order - so I called the company to request that the work be completed since I had then paid $8,500. I also reported a leak in the basement underneath the work he had performed on the tub drain. My wife asked, "Shouldn't he feel responsible to fix the work that wasn't carried out initially, without charging us even more this time?" I had only called ARS again, hoping for some consideration for my situation. It will be the last time. T. Jones

Joseph provided material, answered all question, left us while we decided and immediatly installed it once we chose to purchase. Joseph Malloy, representing ARS, came to the house to perform the yearly review of the heater. He was curtious, friendly, efficient and completely knowledgeable. We were curious about adding an enviro scrubbing filter to the system. Joseph explained clearly the product, the process and the expected results and then installed the filter at our request. His was efficient, professional, easy and enjoyable to talk with and fully informative throughout the entire process. We consider him to have been an excellent worker and representative for ARS. We have used ARS for years and give them a good recommendation and we give Joseph an excellent recommendation!

We had a family tragedy this weekend and of course, right on time, our hot water heater broke. I did call ARS Laurel and was at first promised a Sunday repair. Sadly, that never happened. Frustrated and angry I called on Monday and Jackie, the dispatcher said she was so very sorry. She said she would send someone immediately and promised the work would be done, today. Daniel H drove almost 90 minutes to reach my home. He worked all day to get this specialized water heater and vent system installed, as promised, in one day. I know it was a challenging job and he thought at first it could not be done, but he worked to get the people needed and the part. He was conscientious, neat and hard working. I was going to go with another company after the tremendous stress of the no show on Sunday, but Jackie promised they would make it right and they did. Thank you Daniel for understanding the stress our family was experiencing and for doing all you could to resolve the issue.

Gerardo Thomas and his colleagues arrived at our home ready to work on replacing the hot water heater, air conditioning, and furnace. We reviewed the location of the units to be replaced, and discussed some of the issues that they would encounter and my preferences. During the install, they adapted their plans for running some of the AC control lines to meet my preference. After completing the install, we discussed how to operate the units, and details of the work they completed. I commend the team for their work ethic, attention to detail, and professionalism.

Comment not directed at Bill, it asked for a name. He was the sales person. BUT somebody dropped the ball. New unit was installed on July 25th, that was a nightmare. But the reason for this 1 star rating is, been waiting since the installation of my new heat pump for the rebate from the Electric company. Was informed by ARS on October 5th that they never submitted the paper work to Potomac Edison for the rebate. Was told if I don't receive it by 6 weeks, call them back. REALLY. another 6 weeks of waiting for that rebate. Hopefully we will get it by Thanksgiving. These rebates do expire from these electric companies. If this is the case, which I would not be surprised if ARS tells me that, ARS will be writing me a check for that rebate !!! It is in the agreement for the installation including the rebate. That agreement is a legal document. So I would mail in your own paper work for the rebate. DON'T trust them to do it.

Technicians Gerardo Thomas and Donald Leggett did an outstanding job on the install of my new HVAC system. They were meticulously performed the install. After which, they reviewed the work performed and gave me a full tutorial of my system's operation. Additionally, they cleaned their work area prior to departure. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Job well done fellas!!

Technicians Gerardo T and Donald T did an outstanding job performing the install of a new HVAC system in my home. They were respectful of my time (prompt arrival), my family and my home. Moreover, after performing a professional install and giving me a full tutorial on the system's operation they returned the affected area of the home to its original condition. You should consider yourself fortunate if this team appears at your front door to resolve your HVAC needs.
