ARS Laurel is great!! Had a clogged toilet and they repaired in minutes. Very professional. Was directed to these guys by Angie's List, but save yourself the aggravation of Angie's and deal direct with these guys.
I retract my statement. The toilet worked for one day and then clogged again. ARS Rooter refuses to return numerous calls and will now find another without the assistance of Angie's Gabriel A. 05/01/14 |

Our building is 100 years old. Ricardo explained in detail what the issue was with our plumbing. He was very patient and answered all of our questions. Even though the price to get the work done is a bit hefty, it is work that needs to be done. He was very sincere in his explanations offered great advice. While I was dissatisfied with the customer service when scheduling for service, Rodney made it all better with his extraordinary service. He is extremely polite, pleasant, and most willing to satisfy the customer. He worked efficiently and above all, replaced our broke sump pump to get us out of deep water!! My ARS technician was Tony R who did an outstanding job with the annual A/C system inspection, AND I received a promotional savings from ARS for completing the service by the end of April. Tony was very professional, efficient and courteous. He explained the tests he was performing on my A/C system and informed me of things I may need to address in the future, such as new capacitor. It’s what I consider a privilege to write a review for ARS employee Abraham “Abâ€. April 11th we had our new Carrier furnace installed of which we are very pleased and reviewed earlier. Shortly after installation I noticed the furnace making a “booming†noise as if the sheet metal was expanding and contracting. Not knowing if this was to be expected with the new furnace I opted to schedule a follow up inspection. ARS cheerfully obliged and dispatched Abraham.
Abraham was one of those individuals I instantly “clicked†with. I explained the problem and he suggested the filter or duct may be dirty. I didn’t want to risk simply accepting such a simple remedy only to have to call ARS again, so he agreed to allow me to purchase another filter to test out his theory. When I returned, Abraham installed the new filter and sure enough the “booming†noise ceased.
As a post script, while I was away purchasing the new filter, it began to rain and when I returned home I found he’d brought my dog in out of the who I’d left tied up outside. GOOD MAN!!!! Abraham A. 04/27/14 |

Greg Smith was my first in-person contact with ARS. He came to my house this evening in the pouring rain to inspect my HVAC unit. Wow, what a great guy! He took the time to explain in detail how my system works, explained ways to better operate my system and spent a good deal of time on the roof in the rain making sure I was good to go. Rolando and Larry from ARS-Laurel installed our new Carrier AC and furnace today. They are highly skilled at what they do and I could not have been more pleased with the quality of their work. Both men were highly professional, very polite, and answered all of my questions about the installation. They removed all of the old equipment and left the work space very clean. I also want to commend Mr. Bill Munson who was the sales rep. for ARS. There was no high pressure selling and he was eager to work with us so we could stay within our budget. Quintin came out to diagnose the source of a leak that was coming through my garage ceiling. He was very thorough and professional, and took his time to make sure he addressed the problem. Once we finally identified the source (bad wax ring on a toilet), he worked very efficiently to fix the issue. He then made sure the leak was repaired before having me sign off on the job. The technician arrived within the time frame given to me by dispatch. He parked in front of the home and secured his vehicle with cones. Upon entering, he identified himself and was displaying his badge. He quickly began working on the issue I described to him. There was a question as to the issue being covered under my home warranty, he was able to verify coverage for me and began correcting the problem. I had 2 toilets that were out of commission. The plumber assigned to me was Quintin. One toilet had a straightforward problem, and the second was complicated. Quintin was knowledgeable, professional and personable. I could tell he was very skilled and he was happy to answer questions. It was quite a messy job, but he took great care as he was doing it and cleaned everything up when he was finished. I have had many plumbers to my home over the years, but this guy seriously is the best plumber I have ever dealt with. I hope I can request him the next time I need one. Highly recommend!
