Mr. Steven Jones was pleasant and put cover on his street shoes. He explained to me the reason my AC unit needed repair. He answered questions that I had regarding the operation and maintenance of my AC unit. He was very patient and understood that I was upset at what the repairs would cost. ARS of Laurel MD was very prompt in scheduling my same day maintenance appointment, even calling back when an earlier time slot became available. Upon arrival Steven Jones was very professional, and throughly explained all aspects of my AC units, most of which I had no previous knowledge. I was very pleased with the knowledge of the technician, and his willingness to explain complex evaluations in a simplified way. I will definitely seek ARS assistance going forward. Mark, a plumbing technician with ARS, provided great service for us. Our garbage disposal had stopped working and we needed it to be fixed or replaced. Mark was able to unjam the disposal and get it working in less than 2 minutes. He then ran some thorough plumbing tests to check the water temperature, water pressure, and he looked at our main water supply system. Not only did Mark provide excellent service, but he literally went through Hell and high water to get to our home! With torrential downpours causing major traffic delays and road closures, Mark was determined to come help us, even though I offered to reschedule for his convenience. ARS Customer Service called me to schedule appt as part of previous service contract. They we very flexible and granted a SAME DAY appointment. Technician arrived as scheduled and called thirty mins beforehand. Work was performed better than expected. Tech was courteous and friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Quintin called 1/2hour before arriving (as promised). He was polite and efficient, Completed my estimate and indicated that if I liked he could replace my aging sump pump that day. The replacement was completed in the same morning. Quintin easily dealt with quirks of an old house and made sure the sump pump was installed upright and that all replacement piping was neat and straight (no angling things toward the wall). ARS installed a new furnace and air conditioner for me in April 2013 and I would recommend the company. I was very impressed with Steven J of ARS. This is the second time that he has serviced my furnace in the spring and my air conditioner today, August 7, 2014.. I would ask for him again. Mr. Tyson (HVAC Technician)came to our home to do our annual service maintenance. We've had this done several time before but this is the first time that the technician took the time to educate us as the system owners. He taught us some quick ways to check to see if the system is functioning properly. Also the importance of changing the filters. He was excellent with our children, talking to them about sports.
We will be requesting him for any of our HVAC needs. Mr. Tyson is truly about providing a high level service to ARS customers.

ARS provides great customer service. We had an emergency and used the 24 hour call number to get an immediate next day appointment. By 7:45 am they were already calling and scheduling us. They always call and provide the name of the technician and their time of arrival. The HVAC technician (Don) arrived and worked diligently to help find the problem but also educate us about the issue and provided information for any future needs. He was courteous and professional. We had to have our inside and outside heat pump replaced. Edward Howser was the salesman who came to our house. He did a great job explaining the Carrier Greenspeed infinity unit. We had 3 companies come and give us estimates. ARS of Laurel came in well below the other estimates. Tom Poole was our installer. I felt bad for Mr. Poole, because he was in the hot attic for hours. The company did a great job. They came when they said they would and even called to let me know how far away they were. They returned my calls promptly. After I signed the contract, I read negative reviews on the internet and became worried. I had nothing to worry about, they did a great job and I saved a lot of money. I asked the salesman why their estimate was so much lower and he told me because they are a national company they get bigger discounts from Carrier. After several technicians from this company spent several hours at my home on several different occasions over the past two months......Quintin was the only person who was ablt to solve the issue with my bathroom tub/shower. Prior to him fixing the issue I had, I was not happy at all with the service from this company and dreading having them continue to fix the issue that they continued to make worse. The installers were Cordell and Jahleel. They were very professional and polite. I had installed a furnace, AC unit and thermostat, it took more than 8 hours, but it was worth it. A couple days later, Mike came out to finish connecting some piping and it took him less than 2 hours. He too was very professional and polite. The plumber, Arem (Art), was very good; professional and friendly. My only complaint is with the response time -- it took three days (& two reschedules by ARS) before management got a technician out to help. Once he actually got here, he was timely and thorough.
