This technician was personable and above all, saw his role as an educator re: our equipment. He gave us info re: our air conditioner that included the fan and clearing bushes from around the outside unit. He also showed me how to clean certain pieces of equipment periodically. Rolando, with the aide of Larry and Fred, saved the day for our project. The sales rep spec'd the wrong equipment and the wrong size. Rolando did his best to make it work and when he couldn't, really took a personal interest in making sure we were taken care of. Rolando and Larry of Ars of Laurel installed our new air conditioning and heating units purchased from Ars. They did a very competent and professional job of the installation. They explained everything they did, answered all our questions, and gave us good tips on the proper use of the equipment. We have had a contract with Ars for twice annual maintenance visits for several years and have been very pleased. I had an appt for Friday 5/16/2014 but due to other homes and their failed AC units, my appt was changed to Monday 5/19/2014 between 2-6PM. I got a phone call at 8:51AM on 5/19 that a technician was already in my area and if they could come early.
Steven Jones showed up, polite, professional and boots covered to begin work. Steven immediately began his inspection of my Unit and I felt like I was taking a class in HVAC. I learned about the compressor beginning to fail as he worked to replace it. I learned about the schematic of the lines as well as the pipes, power supply, fan and cleaning. I could go on with everything I learned, but that would leave nothing for you to learn.
It was amazing to know the lengthy knowledge Steven. We even discussed the Mini Splits for the Ductless Unit. Amazing!
I am NOT one to compliment as there have been very few technicians, in any field, to impress me. What a breath of fresh air to have such a respectful and high level of professionalism and customer service provided by Steven Jones. If this is what ARS Laurel is all about, I am happy to become a loyal customer.

I had a leak in my basement celling ARS sent a tech out on a weekend he did not find the leak stated it was something else. My husband cut a bigger hole in the celling and was able to find the pin hole in a copper pipe. ARS send the same tech out a second time after arguing with my husband regarding the problem we were having. My husband place something under the hole to catch the water to prove that a leak was occurring. The tech stated he fix the leak and when my husband came home from work he notice water was still leaking. ARS was called a third time and this time Gabriel came out detected the leak in several different places replaced the whole copper pipe now there is no leak. I will give Gabriel 4 stars but ARS will get 1 star for not listening to the customer and have to come out to my home 3 times to get it right. Gabriel A. 05/20/14 |
