Craig M. just performed our annual maintenance work on the boiler unit. We never had Craig before but like his colleagues, he is very professional and courteous. After the hour's work, he provided me a summary of the boiler's condition (good) and made sure the basement was left in the condition as before. He also provided a few tips on savings energy. There was a problem with scheduling in the office. When no one showed 3 hours after scheduled appt, I called the office and was told the technicians didn't have our ticket for some reason, but they were able to show up soon after which, fortunately, was not a big problem. So I dont usually leave reviews but Art D came to my house after being visited by the "Service Professionals" from Union NJ. The other companies told me i needed 1000 dollars in repairs, when I refused to do that and told them i wanted more estimates, I was charged 100 dollars for his "time".
Art came in and spent literally 2 hours to diagonose the problem. He tested all elements of the system, and even laser measured the temp coming from the outlets. At the end of the day it seemed to just be that the condenser needed to be cleaned, a simple wash with the hose did it!!!

Ed has been my service man for years. I've used Woolley Fuel for more than 30. Although the oil is a bit pricey, the service (Ed P. and others before him) and the installation of a new furnace a few years ago were superb. No complaints. Norm senior even helped me notarize some documents years ago. Will definitely
recommend Woolley to the new owners of my home. I do need documentation from Ed P's visit this week, with notation of 5/8 tank full with current price of oil, and no deterioration seen in boiler connector. Thanks again for 30+ years of excellence

I am rating the service technician, Art D. with the five stars, NOT WOOLLEY FUEL. I have been a customer for over 20 years, and also a gold member. The company has always contacted me to let me know I am running low on oil. On 7/2/15, I completely ran out of oil and I contacted the company on Friday 7/3 and was advised I would have to wait until Tuesday7/7 in order to get oil as their office was closed for the holiday. I was advised that if a technician had to come out, I would be charged $49 on the spot. Art D. came on 7/7 and was very surprised to learn we did not have oil for days. He apologized for the poor service I received being that I am a long time customer and was not given any courtesy. Art was extremely friendly, professional, trustworthy and knowledgeable. After talking to him I changed my mind as I was researching other companies where I could take my business. Woolley Fuel needs more technicians like Art as he is a complete asset to that company. Woolley Fuel Company is located in Maplewood and services the Watchung area. When I had an issue with my old oil burner, I telephoned them and they sent out a technician and he did a complete diagnostics on the system. I he got it working perfectly, but he found that the heat exchanger had a crack in it. How many companies check for that - CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING POTENTIAL. I bought a new furnace from them and the installation went very well. I have now used the Woolley company for about the last five years and each year they do a great servicing of my oil burner and air conditioning. My last service man was Art D and he did a great job. However, I should mention that the rest of the employees are just great to work with. Stephanie is wonderful with the accounting issues, never a problem. Craig has serviced my system and supervised the installation of the new heating system. He too is great.
This is a great company and they pay attention to details and that makes my life a lot easier.
