We've had a tough experience here with Unique. We are paying quite a bit of money for an annual service plan, which covers our boiler. We noticed a leak from the boiler on June 4th and called them. The first time they could get someone out to take a look was June 9th. The technician diagnosed that we needed a new drain tray and they ordered the part. The next technician came out to install it on June 15th, 11 days following the original call, and during this time we've had a steady leak which we've saoking up with towels. When he arrived, he determined that the drain tray is not the problem, and that there is actually a different larger issue that the first technician did not properly diagnose, and now we need to wait for word as to when that part might be in, and when it can be installed. This is the kind of thing that erodes trust in Unique, and whether they know what they're doing or not. Joe C. 06/15/20 |

The installers Alex and Juan were very professional, neat, followed the covid-19 guidelines and were very aware of my new puppy making sure gates and doors were always secure. Central A/C stopped working today. The bearings had seized. Made a call at 2:00 PM. I was told someone would be to my home between 3 and 5. At 3 PM Joe arrived. He was professional, courteous, friendly and knew his stuff. He diagnosed the problem, replaced the motor checked ther rest of ther unit out and by 4:20 the unit was working. Our family has been saving up and looking forward to having AC installed in our home for a VERY long time. Yesterday was finally the day! Bruce S. and Scottie arrived on time and got straight to work...and they were AWESOME!!!! They were SO careful...with our floors and made a big effort to clean up as they went and make sure everything was covered up before any drilling, to prevent dust. They were great with my kids, especially my youngest who wanted to know what they were doing and kept asking questions! They working quickly and efficiently and we are all so grateful! The service person arrived later than scheduled and so was unable to complete all the planned maintenance services. He did a diagnostic evaluation of a problem with one A/C system and identified the problem but the repair would require a second visit. The installers, Alex and Juan, were very professional, neat, and polite. Not only did they follow the Covid19 protection guidelines but they had to endure very hot temperature, rain and were also very careful my 9 week old puppy was safe all day by closing doors and gates while they were busy removing our old a/c and heater out and installing new ones. The entire process from beginning to end was beyond outstanding !!!
It started with our initial contact: Mike Pagnottelli who gave us every option available and answered our many questions in person, via text and on the phone immediately without any hesitation. There were a lot of questions on our part and Mike was awesome dealing with everyone.
He was transparent, patient, knowledgeable, very enthusiastic and a pleasure to work with. He showed up on installation day to review everything with us again which was a tremendous help.We will request Mike if we decide to move forward on any other products/services that Unique offers. The products we purchased recommended by Mike are better than he described!!!!!

Sam was the lead installer - he was absolutely terrific with us and explained everything in detail.
Val who worked with him was also very detailed, responsive and professional. Both have great personalities and excellent customer service skills.
Both treated us in a terrific manner keeping us informed every step of the way. They also paid attention to our dog who enjoyed their visit immensely.

Sam & Val just finished installing 4 Mitsubishi Air Conditioning units, and and New furnace in our recently purchased home in South Philly, and we could not be happier with their work!!! Both Sam And Val were extremely punctual, meticulous about their work with clean up and covering everything diligently!!! I really just could not be happier!!! They both have an excellent work ethic, which you don't find in too many younger folks these days!! Very pleasant & professional demeanors. And most impressively, Sam went above and beyond the call of duty as he found some things in our system that weren't done correctly by the original people who installed, and he Fixed it because he is conscientious and dedicated!! That kind of professionalism and devotion to craftsmanship I have not seen in at least 35 years!!! Unique Indoor Comfort, You have a true treasure in these employees, I hope you know that!!!! Had another excellent experience with Unique Indoor Comfort Heating and Cooling. Last Saturday we tried to start our hvac system for a first time since the Fall and we noticed that the outdoors condenser is not working. I used the web form to sent a message to Unique Indoor Comfort Heating and Cooling requesting service. I got a call from them in less than an hour, and the office coordinator Joyce was absolutely fabulous and super efficient. We set up an appointment for the same day (on a Saturday afternoon!) and the field manager Joe C was at our house in less than an hour. He identified the problem immediately and started working on resolving it. It took some time and a second visit but the problem is fixed and our ac now is fully operational. The professionalism and expertise of Joe C was of the highest level, and he was incredibly careful in following social distancing protocols. I am really impressed with this company!
