Paul was terrific;-) He helped us pick the best AC for our needs, was completely available, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth. Unique had the central air installed within 10 days of signing the contract; great on-site workers (clean, neat, reliable), constant communication, and everything works as promised. Highest recommendation. We recommended them to a friend who also signed up.

Dimos at Unique did an excellent job! He was thorough and professional. He took the time to explain all aspects of his work, and showed me what he was doing and why. He did not try to sell me anything unnecessary nor did he make any unsubstantiated claims regarding my AC units. I highly recommend this company!

Unique installed a new furnace and AC for us in June 2016. The entire process, from first contact through quotes and installation, was easy, fast (even though we were in the midst of a heat wave), and carried out in a friendly, competent, and professional manner by all staff members what we've been in contact with. We have a maintenance plan, and we get handy text reminders and postcards when it's time to call to schedule maintenance visits. Telephone interactions have been great, and the techs show up right on time. Frank has been out twice (Fall 2016 and Spring 2017) for regular maintenance: again friendly, competent, and professional, and explains everything that he'll be doing. We've been very happy with Unique.

We recently had the high velocity AC installed. Joie and Dom were excellent. Very professional and hard working. The process took 5 days and at the end of each day they made sure everything was cleaned up as though they were never there. They explained the system to us and made sure we understood everything. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Unique Indoor Comfort provides a complete assessment of a system, and they are thorough and honest. Repairs are done right the first time! Dimos is an excellent technician and very reliable. If emergency work has to be done, Unique Indoor Comfort tries to meet the need.

I had a great experience working with this company on a big HVAC project. The sales and installation crew were the best group of people I've worked with on any home improvement project. Their workmanship was excellent and they were very respectful of our home and cleaned up every day they were here. They really did leave their workspace cleaner than when they started. I had duckwork issues throughout my house and Unique Air provided a solution that they said would work and it has. Chris and Paul come out looked everything over,listened to my concerns and provided a well thought out plan that they had done many times before and I was comfortable with their approach. Mike V. And Trong (the installers) were about as good as you could wish for. They were polite, had a great personality and seemed to really enjoy the work they were doing. I could go on and on on this project. It took five days and I actually hated to say goodbye to them. If you are on the fence on what to do about a heating or air conditioning issue, call them. I would highly recommend Unique Air for any HVAC project. I can't say enough about the work they did and how everything looks. It was money well spent. I will only use this company going forward.

I called Unique for a round of standard maintenance on my heating and cooling units - the first time for me, as I'm in a new-to-me house - and am so glad I did. Frank arrived in the appointed time window and was so helpful and thorough in his work. He answered all of my questions, provided the quotes that I requested, and explained what all of the maintenance entailed. I would highly recommend Unique!

I had an excellent experience with Unique Indoor Comfort. I called to have my heating system serviced and a technician was at my house within an hour. Pat was the technician on call and arrived promptly. He was extremely professional and was able to diagnose the problem and have my heat back on with 45 minutes. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and walked me through what he was doing the entire time. I would highly recommend Unique Indoor Comfort for any heating needs.

First time I've used Unique, and they figured out the problem I was having in 30 minutes, and only charged me $99.....I recently had another provider that ended up costing me almost $1000 and a month later I was having the same issue! Needless to say, I'm not a Unique customer for live! Chris the technician was polite, on time (early actually), had booties on his shoes, and knew what he was talking about. HVAC is a lot like auto mechanics, you really have no idea what they are doing, and it's easy to take advantage of a customer. You have to find someone you can really trust. These guys appear to be the white knights I've been looking for! Thanks Unique!

Brandon and Joie were both great-they made sure to keep me posted on each step, they were extremely conscientious about keeping everything in the house protected and cleaned up thoroughly each day before they left. would highly recommend them for installation.

Dimos is prompt, pleasant, courteous and always provides me with good advice, in order for me to know what to to keep a watch for in terms of problems I can anticipate. Once after servicing my heater, he pointed out that my hot water heater, which I was keeping an eye on due to age, did not have the proper safety valve. I called my plumber, who promptly replaced it. He is also one of few people who would enter my house with a 130 lb dog in it. No matter how sweet the dog was, I have had service people refuse to come, even though I gave everyone a heads up beforehand.

Thursday evening, the water leaking from the water heater had reached the other side of the basement when my husband went down the stairs. When I called Unique and left a message it was already after eight. Between eight and nine-thirty I had talked to three very sympathetic people at Unique, sent photographs of the heater and knew that someone would be at our house in the morning. Frank came at 9:30 to look things over, explain what we needed, why we needed it, what our options were for replacement and when it would happen. The new heater was here and installed impressively quickly. Everyone was sympathetic and helpful. Frank was a pleasure to have in the house. He answered our many questions with endless patience and worked so quickly that even I, a plumber's daughter, was sincerely impressed. Frank is our latest hero from Unique: perfectly professional and personable.

My heating system failed on a cold Sunday afternoon. One phone call to Unique and a service tech was here in about an hour. Dimos knew what the problem was within 15 minutes and had it repaired in an hour. He was an expert, very courteous and thorough. He kept asking if i had any questions and gave me advice on how to avoid future problems with my HVAC system. Great company and people.

We have a three story, stone house, built in c. 1909. The attic is small, the room for duct work sparse. Unique was one of two firms recommended to us by our heating and fuel oil people, who said that they (the heating and fuel oil people) would love to do the work for us but they just were not equipped to handle the constraints of the house. From the first consultation we had with Unique through the final handshake when they said, OK, you're good to go, they were a gem. Outstanding work, incredibly neat in their persons and in the way in which they kept the house while cutting through walls, and all the rest of it. Amazingly classy as persons. Half way through the job we had to be away for the day -- we left to the house to them without a bit of apprehension. Their's was not the lowest bid and we are not able to say Money doesn't matter. But the price was in the ball park and we're happy to have had their expertise and class working for us. If I've left out a topic that you're looking for, it's only because I'm also in the midst of trying to do my own best work -- anything relevant to this review would earn an A from me were I asked.

Mike solved a strange wiring situation and enabled us to take advantage of new Ecobee units. He was happy to come back to tweak the system when there was an irregularity. While there he was able to replace components to make it quieter. Mike is knowledgeable and a great guy. :)

Awesome service!! My AC went out over the weekend and they were out first thing on Sunday... with no after hour fees!!! . Mike was great and had me fixed in no time. They honored their yelp offer. My AC went out again about two weeks later. They came back at no charge. Both were easy fixes. I appreciate them not trying to charge me for lots of things or trying to tell me I needed a new system. Thanks Unique!! I will recommend you to anyone.

3 months ago- We had a wonderful experience with Unique that motivated me to write this 5 star review. Our AC finally conked out over a weekend. I had already been in contact with Unique in regards to replacing it, and they had the best & most thorough quote out of the 5 competing companies. I called my salesperson (Bob) on a Sunday morning and he had things moved around so they could install the central air on the next day. The install crew was courteous, friendly, and efficient. As I decided to also have them replace our ductwork, it turned out to be a 2 day job & the salesperson dropped off two window units so we would sleep comfortably that night. All around, an A+, 5 Star experience. UPDATE: They called me a year after installation to set up a free follow up on the system . I called them on Friday morning before Labor Day to make arrangements and they had a service guy out the SAME DAY at 4 PM as that was the time that worked best for me. Wow! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Quality service is worth every penny.

Best company ever!! During the hottest summer ever, the HVAC unit in our condo quit. It is a very unique unit that is not made by most manufacturers. There was a 4 week delay in being able to get the unit. Unique Indoor Comfort came out to the condo twice to see if they could get the AC to work until we could get a new unit. It was not fixable. Meanwhile, they started calling their suppliers and found 1 unit nearby. They picked it up and installed in the next day. They gave me an Angie's list $300 discount that they were offering that I didn't even know about. Everyone I spoke to and delay with at the company was so helpful and went above and beyond what was expected. I will recommend them to everyone I know and use them in the future. This company is the best. After our original company quoted us $2200 for work last year we called Unique. They said 80% of the work originally quoted was not needed and they got us up and running for 1/4 the price. We opted for the service contract with warranty and has paid for itself 4x over. They show up on time, are courteous and are straight shooters. Don't be fooled by fancy TV and radio ads....call these guys!

When I called Unique Indoor Comfort, I was very concerned as my Air conditioner had stopped working May 26, 2016 in the middle of the night. I found out in the morning that the outside unit had not been blowing and was smoking HOT. Everyone I spoke with was extremely professional. They sent a specialist Frank P. out on 05/27/2016. Frank was wonderful, he spoke to me in terms that I would understand, He explained what had happened along with what needed to be done prior to fixing my unit, along with checking out my entire air conditioner system. Frank, explained their service plan which I did purchase; as my unit is getting old. I thank you Frank and Unique Indoor Comfort for your prompt professional service. I look foreword to many more years with your company.

I highly recommend UIC to anyone looking for professional help with their HVAC system. These guys are extremely knowledgeable, reasonably-priced, and helpful (and really polite, too ... they remove their shoes and put on special slippers before entering your home!).

Update: here my loveletter to UIC folks this morning. Maintenance plan one of the best things we have ever done... and I never buy the extended warrantee things, but THIS is golden! "Just wanted--while I have the time, as he is still working on my HVAC system--to say how much I appreciate what Unique Indoor Comfort does, and how you do it. You have taken a process--maintaining household stuff--from the realm of "avoid at all costs" to "oh, it is time to schedule with Unique, ok, I will do that today" status. Why? First, I can always schedule easily. Someone answers the phone, is nice, is smart, is helpful and I always can schedule 'soon'. Second, the scheduling window is not all day or 4 hours, but max 2 hours. Third, you always call the night before, and before arriving that day. Fourth, over the years that we have had a service plan with you, I have met probably 5 or 6 guys. They have all been nice, efficient, clear, and helpful. They have always explained anything I wanted to understand better, and have been patient with not just those questions, but the cat, messy cellar, and tiny spaces to work in. They do not complain about how hard it is to park in the neighborhood (yes, it is, I know!), or about the weather. They are unfailingly polite and funny and positive. For me, to have one interaction with someone I do not know, each day, who is nice, and who increases the nice-ness in the world, makes my day. Unique Indoor Comfort made my day today (thanks, Patrick) and has done so many times in the last few years. Money, time, and waiting well spent. Plus, the A/C and furnace work great!"

Heater motor died on a Sunday. Not an emergency but technician appeared that day and by 4PM on Monday we had a new heater motor installed. Prompt, courteous service. Could not have asked for more professional or better treatment.

They came on time, the service rep was a professional and presented himself in a polished way. He explained everything he was doing to me and did not mind me looking over his shoulder as he worked to discover the cause of the issue my system was having. My initial experience with Unique was for an AC quote in my old 1800's townhome. Unfortunately the AC didn't end up making financial sense, but I also was in need of a new gas hot water boiler. Unique had worked up a quote at the same time as my AC quote and their prices were not the lowest, but they were competitive. I ended up using them for a new boiler and hot water heater. They beat the other company I was considering using as well on price for the same setup in order to secure my business. The install took several hours and the team was professional and left the work area and my house clean. Other than the new shiny boiler and water heater, I probably would have not know they were at my house. The after-sale support has been great with them. I've had an issue with heat getting to certain parts of my house and I engaged my sales person who immediately got a tech out to look at and address the issue. Good to know the post-sale support is a priority with Unique and I would recommend them and use them again.

Excellent and would highly recommend. We called when our heater broke and it was 18 degrees outside, a technician came within an hour and the next day we had our heater and a/c replaced. The entire service was outstanding and the pricing was less than competitors. Overall very happy and would definitely use again.
