TH installed a new furnace for me in 11/2015. I was impressed that they were able to get it done the day after Thanksgiving. When my AC went out the following June, I called them. Chad, Justin and Daniel were great. The installation team...not so much. They were 2 hours late and not a word as to why, until I called Ken. They did a decent job installing it and left me the new condenser pump which, for whatever reason, they did not feel the need to install at the time. Well, 30 days later, on a Sunday, the AC quit working. Not only could I not get in touch with anyone. I left messages and that evening got a call from Ken stating they don't have anyone on call on Sunday. Not smart in a service industry, though I digress. Chad came out two days later and within minutes, figured out the problem. It took him about 10-15mins to install the new pump. He did not understand why the new pump wasn't put in at the time of the original installation either. He said he would let management know about such a ridiculous error. My complaint is this: since that time (which has now been 3 weeks), I have not gotten a phone call from the company apologizing for such an inconvenience and certainly no offer of any monetary reimbursement. Discovered a leaking pipe. Called to schedule service and luck had it that they had a cancellation and were at my house 30 minutes later. Quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Good as new in less than an hour. They did an excellent job Kevin E., Eric R. 08/05/16 |

Louis is a one man band, going right to work, getting the job done right the first time! I never saw anyone work so hard, so attentive to his work and still be upbeat! A real pleasure to be around as very personable and from the very minute you meet him, you will feel comfortable around him. Be assured he is the man for the job as he knows electricity, respects it as he will you for hiring him! One of a kind who is truly the very BEST! I had a ceiling fan installed along with the associated electric wiring. There were several challenges but Jim overcame all and did a great job. The job looks professionally done. Jim was on-time, courteous and all was cleaned up at end of job. He also replaced several outlet switches and they also turned out great. After scheduling my consult appointment with Tipping Hat I met with Kevin Eddingfield who arrived at my home in a timely manner and went over several payment options for my air conditioning unit. He was very polite and explained all the options very concisely. When the day arrived for him to install the unit he took great care in setting up everything and then cleaning up afterwards. Chad was a delightful young man, that had the AC unit fixed in roughly 15 minutes. The tune up of the units then went smooth. Keith was great. Initially, he gave me suggestions to save money, and do some minor repairs myself. Unfortunately, there was something else we hadn't seen, and so had to have him come back the following day and make the repairs. He was on time, quick, and got right to work. We were extremely pleased with Louis L's work at our house on a big electrical job. There were many difficulties posed by our old electrical panel and the original set-up but Louis stayed with it and overcame all the obstacles. He was diligent, patient, knowledgeable and provided us with a safe electrical panel and system. The other "add-on" parts of the job (fan installation, floor outlet installation, etc.) were accomplished by him expertly and with great care since these situations required putting holes in existing walls, ceilings and floors. They entire team at Tipping Hat was fabulous. Neil and Zabih (pls forgive my spelling!) were prompt and came shortly after our initial call (leaking pipe flooding our basement). Neil even came out and personally made our house habitable again by building in a temporary fix for the leak as the teams were busy and couldn't schedule our work until the following week. Dan and Zabih arrived on time on the scheduled day and repiped our entire house and even installed a new water heater. This is my second time utilizing Tipping Hat. Chad was extremely helpful and friendly. He repaired our A/C unit (which is older) at a reasonable price and let us know what we will need to do in the future. I only had an AC tune-up from Nick M., but I was very pleased with the service. He walked me through everything that he was checking and why, explained the things that we could do to maintain the efficiency of our system, and gave several suggestions regarding an eventual replacement of the system. Love Tipping Hat from beginning to end - Ken was easy to deal with and helped get us scheduled. Chad was amazing when he got to the house. He was quick, efficient and spoke in terms we could understand. Dealing with an older A/C unit, we expected to be told it was not repairable and that we would need a brand new unit, which we can't afford right now.
