Tipping Hat has been great to work with. Chad was the initial tech who came to my house regarding a furnace check and plumbing issues. He pointed out the serious problems with the furnace and Kevin was available, so he came by and concurred with Chad's analysis. I told them I was also thinking about having my water heater replaced, given it's age. Kevin sat down on Friday evening and worked up a price for all work. I called Kevin on Monday to tell him I wanted them to do the work and he and I arrived at Wednesday as an install date. Keith and his helper came to my house, work began at 8:30 A. M. and by shortly after 1:00 PM I had a new furnace & water heater installed, everything cleaned up and Keith explained various on both the water heater and furnace. Kevin even came by and was involved regarding the installation of the water heater. Joe did a very thorough job at evaluating my furnace for the upcoming winter. Another company who had installed a new thermostat in the early part of the year told me I need to have my furnace vacuumed out for upwards of $400. Fortunately I waited. I asked Joe if I needed it, and he said "no." He wiped it up a bit inside and out - and called it a day, without any additional charge. They were able to send a plumber within a day or two of my non urgent request. He was able to quickly diagnose the situation and replaced the pipe and external faucet within a short amount of time. They did a very good job, from quoting to installation. They replaced our furnace and then the ignition switch broke in the water heater...
They were on time and best of all called ahead to confirm and make sure were home. They turned up exactly when they said, they did not make us wait.

Here is the chronological occurrence of events:
1. Appointment was made for a Tuesday 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
2. Tuesday at 3:20 PM I was called by Amanda to let me know the technician was running late and could I reschedule. No problem for me. I rescheduled for Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
3.Thursday at 10:13 AM Amanda called and informed me that the technician was ahead of schedule and could I reschedule for 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. No problem for me.
4: At approximately 11:00 AM Joe S. knocked on my door.
Less than an hour latter the tune up was complete with comments on items to look for in the future.

This company and all their employees are amazing! They were always on time, very respectful of the home and myself, easy to speak with and friendly!
I would highly receommend them, and their services.
I had a new furnace, AC and water heater installed, all within one day.

Justin quickly & correctly identified the issue with my landscape lighting. Unlike the 4 previous estimators he clearly outlined the problem, outlined all options for repair and associated costs. He did not push or press me towards any 1 option,and was responsive to all my questions, and supplied me with lots of information for the quickest and least expensive repair. Very much appreciated! JB came out to our house about 2 hours after I had called in to see if they might be able to have someone come out to check our water heater. It was great they were able to fit someone in in such a short amount of time. JB came and diagnosed the issue right away and was able to repair the thermocoupler in the water heater in about an hour or less. It was quick and now we have hot water again. JB B. 10/31/16 |

Dan came to my home to install a house filtration sytem. On time, polite (guess that's why they call themselves Tipping Hat), cleaned up after himself, very knowlegeable, explained the connections and how they system works. He made sure that I had no other concerns before he left. The company/staff from start to finish has been a pleasure to work with. Chad was very friendly, answered all our questions, and completed quality work quickly. He sat down and explained all that he saw, and what he did about while at our home. The price for the service was great, as well, very reasonable.
There are 2 reasons I'm not leaving a 5 start review: First, my service window as from 10-12, and no one called me to let me know that Chad was running late. I called them after 12:15 when no one had arrived yet, they apologized, and he was there by 1. The second reason was that the machine he used left a bit of a mess that was quite difficult to clean, and I was not able to get all the stain out of the hallway carpet. Amanda G., Chad M. 10/24/16 |

Omar was great. He diagnosed my shower leak and was able to fix it faster and cheaper than the original plumber at the same company said it was going to be. We had no heat in the house and things were starting to cool down a lot. I called at 8 a.m. and JB arrived about 1:00 p.m. After taking the cover off of the thermostat, he knew exactly what the problem was. A wire was not connected correctly. This was my first time using Tipping Hat, but they were really great to work with. They were able to put me on their schedule quickly, they were friendly and very professional. I especially love how they send an email of who will be coming to do the work, with a picture, and their references. Louis came over and did a great job of pig-tailing the outlets in one of our rooms here at the house. He was easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and kept me updated as he worked. First, I had Judd come out to look at the electrical problem, and then a few days Louis came out and did the work (pigtail the outlets in the office at our house). I really appreciated how quickly they were able to schedule me in, how easy it was to call and talk to one of the girls in the office, and I love that they send an email before the worker gets here, so you know exactly who to look for, their name, and their reviews, before meeting them.
