My AC fan went out on my outside unit, got a Valpak coupon envelope in the mail the next day. There was 7 different AC company coupons in the pack, I called each one, when I called Tipping Hat, Phillip took my call, listened to my issue and Tipping Hat had the best overall offer. Booked a service call with Phillip for the next day. Kevin the tech showed-up the next morning on time, fixed the unit and tuned up the AC. Fair price, quick service and educated me on my units maintenance. I was wary that the best offer won't mean the best service, but in the case with Tipping Hat I was wrong. Great job! Kevin was truly awesome. My overall experience with Tipping Hat Plumbing was great from the time I called to make the initial appointment. Kevin came in and I felt that he was welcoming me into his home. Professional and personable. It put me in the mind of when I remember service as a kid growing up when a deal was done with the shake of hands. Wow! What a concept? Huh! Treat people the way you'd like to be treated. One thing I do like, but didn't ask for before we started, is an itemized receipt, ie: labor vs parts. I think it is important to see what the consumer is paying for. I basically was told this is not an option.
I worked in the remodel business for 20 years. Most of my clients would not have accepted this type of invoicing. 07/29/15 |

Kevin arrived on time, identified himself, and was very personable. Kevin explained in detail everything he was checking on our cooling system, inside and outside. Kevin was certainly very knowledgeable and professional. Kevin advised our system did not need any repairs at this time, but would suggest a good cleaning. Kevin also explained his company's service of a complete clean/flush and the time and cost associated with that. Kevin was very efficient. We would highly recommend Kevin and Tipping Hat. Kevin was punctual and attentive to the plumbing needs in my house. He was very honest and forthcoming with his assessment of our air conditioning unit and really appreciated it. I also asked him to do another small job, which he did. If Kevin is indicative of the work provided by Tipping Hat Plumbing, I have no hesitance at all to recommend him their services. We had an emergency leak from a construction error late on the Friday before July 4th. Our contractor was not able to get anyone to come and repair the leak (including some of the big names in town). We had just come to the realization we would not have water for a while. In a very odd twist of fate, Michael B happened to be parked just outside our house. I asked if he was still working - remember it was late on the Friday before the holiday. He said yes, and would be more than happy to help us. He came in, and in less than an hour found the issue, and fixed the problem. He worked with the contractor, so we did not have to pay and then try to collect. Michael was pleasant, hard working, and turned a very unpleasant situation into a non-event. We are grateful he was the one outside our house at the right time. Michael B. 07/27/15 |

I was very disappointed. I feel I was taken advantage of and I feel I was extremely over charged. I was not given a detailed list of what work was exactly was done. I was not happy that I had to almost beg for information as to what was done. I will not recommend this company and I will not be a returning customer. 07/08/15 |

Tipping Hat came out and did a toilet tune up on two toilets. Michael and Kevin were the technicians. Philip the owner called to tell me when they would be arriving. Everything went very smooth. Recently had a leak in our bathtub faucet and had to call to have it repaired asap. Through Tipping Hat Pluming Micheal Bears came over immediately and began assessing the problem,then fixed it. We do appreciate the quick and prompt service. He worked in a timely manner and gave details on the problem and his work. He was real friendly and out going. Job well done.
