I have gone without heat/furnace for 14 months now. Financial/family obligations prevented me from repairing same. I purchased a part to repair myself, but was hesitant. Three times I had run into either a truck, advertisement and then a mailing coupon for A Tipping Hat and decided to call them. They came the same morning, replaced the part, checked my water heater and all was completed in less than thirty minutes. Refreshingly professional, explained what I needed to prepare for -- replacing in the next couple of years. Rather than a list of items that would need replacing $$$. It was only $29. Furnace died same day as snow arrived. Very Cold indeed. Called Ken at THPHE and he sent Kevin out to save the day. Kevin fixed furnace and within 30 minutes i had heat again. He was also very fair in his quote as I am 74 years old on SSA. If you have a problem with your HVAC system give them a call and ask for Kevin to do the work....They are all good I'm sure, but to me, Kevin is the best. Kevin E. 12/10/16 |

Louis Lucero did an excellent job with our electrical upgrade. He made sure that our project was done properly and made suggestions to ensure things were completed to my satisfaction. I made some minor changes as the work progressed and Louis always accommodated my requests. The pricing for the work that was done was very reasonable. Jeff from Tipping Hat installed a new H2o heater for me a week ago today. So far everything is working fine. Due to my old leaking main shut off valve and running 90# pressure from the street he installed a new ball valve shutoff and a pressure reducing valve. He answered all of my questions and concerns and brought everything up to code. I found Jeff very knowledgeable and enjoyed talking with him during the total install. I was given several options on H20 heaters and costs of each with different warranties. Service response was quick. Tipping Hat is located within 10 miles. On Saturday, Dec 3, my wife and I woke up to a cold house (58°). After working with the programmable thermostat with no success for getting heat, we called Tipping Hat and they came out that afternoon. Their Service Specialist, Chad, immediately found and corrected the problem involving a lack of water circulation which keeps the furnace cool. When he presented us with the invoice, it was unexpectedly quite a bit lower than we anticipated. It's been only three days but it is working just fine. JB diagnosed my heater problem right away, and gave me an HVAC education as well (I have a Mechanical Engineering degree, but he knew much more about heaters than I did). Let me know what services I didn't need so I wouldn't waste my money, and convinced me to purchase a less expensive option. Tipping Hat provided a competent and courteous technician within hours of my call - even though it was a Saturday. Tipping Hat advertises that there's no charge unless they clear the sewer line. When the technician ran into a immoveable obstruction, he called for a master plumber to come out for a "complimentary camera view and estimate" tomorrow, Sunday. My water heater when out on a Saturday, I called and had a tech out in just a few hours. He was able to asses the problem quickly and provide a solution. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to move appointments around and get my new water heater installed and functioning within the same day.
