Water entered my basement on three occasions through a window well. I received estimates from a plumber and two water proofing companies. All provided misleading and erroneous information. One of
the companies wanted to install new drain tiles at a cost of $1900.
I finally recalled the excellent service I had received over the years with Reid & Petersen Drainage and gave them a call. Dave and a helper arrived on time, identified the problem, patiently explained the
caused and corrected the problem in about an hour. The problem was an obstructed window well drain. Dave was patient, professional efficient and timely in solving the problem. The service was excellent.

The floor drain in my laundry room was backing up for a few weeks. I was reluctant to call and have it rodded because I was worried about the price. But I finally checked out Yelp and found Reid and Pedersen. Reviews seemed pretty good, so I gave them a call. They were able to come out that same weekend. Ryan arrived early on a Saturday morning on time with a call 15 mins before arriving to notify me he was on his way. Very professional and courteous. He came in and out a lot and each time he reentered the house, he would put on new shoes covers. The rather large equipment he brought in also had covers on the wheels. This was important because I had just had new carpet installed. The service took awhile because the configuration of my drains were a bit weird but he stayed until the job was complete. 2 months later my laundry room is doing good and I'm happy. We usually have to rod out our drainage system once a year and some times, if we're lucky, every other year (we have lots of trees on our property). Well, wouldn't you know on a Sat night the issue developed. We called a popular company we used in the past ( rhymes with motor scooter). They promised a Sunday appt. between 8-12 and boast of no extra charge for a Sunday visit. At 12:15 my husband called them for a status. They offered no apology but said they couldn't give us an estimated time, they were running behind, Really??? Not even a courtesy call to tell us they were running late-we had to call them! So we called Reid & Pederson based on the reviews on Yelp. The gentleman discussed the details of our problem w/my husband & gave us a quote over the phone. He informed us that they do charge extra for a Sunday visit, but guess what? It was still less then the company that rhymes with motor scooter, go figure! he told us someone would be here within the hour and if not, he would call us back in 10 minutes with an update. A phone call goes a long way, A+for customer service. The repair guy came within the hour. He was polite, professional and most importantly he got the problem solved. The online scheduling was great, the service men were very polite, but I was not asked where my clean out was and because it was in a crawlspace (with plenty access room) I had to pay an extra 125.00 over my quoted price for an extra man to sit on my step stool and feed additional line! this review is for work done by Daniel R of Reid & Pederson Drainage , First , after my call for drainage assistance the office set a time for a crew to be at my home , after a short time they called and said they would have service pro. within the next 29 mins at my home which was great news. Reid & Pederson did work for us in 2006 and this service was as good as previous. The service pro. Daniel R worked as required professional he was from cleaning the area, to posting required bill and paperwork. The service I received from the service guys with Reid and Pederson Drainage was outstanding. Jose, Kevin W., and Alphonso were outstanding guys to to business with. Jose came to mark the worksite and he explained everything in layman's terms. Kevin W. and Alphonso arrived in the window of time promised. They were professional and explained the work each step of the way. It was brutally cold and snow outside but they continued to work with professionalism. It was an all day project and the completed the work in the time promised. I am very pleased with the quality of work performed. I would recommend Reid & Pederson to anyone. After a heavy, sleeting rain/snow, my sump pump just gave up and I had an inch of water over most of my basement. A call to Reid and Pederson brought Ryan K. to my house the next morning. He arrived ahead of schedule and quickly found out the problem. Both of my sump pumps had given up and he replaced them quickly. He even had to go back to headquarters to get the second pump. Ryan was quiet pleasant and efficient and was a pleasure to deal with. Veta O. had quickly made arrangements for the service when I first called. I've had Reid and Pederson fix a number of drainage problems at my house and every problem has been dealt with in an efficient and quality manner.
