I was referred to Reid & Pederson just this morning, as we had been experiencing toilet flushing problems that were getting worse. I called and, within a couple hours Technician Dave D. arrived. He diagnosed the problem and corrective action needed, provided an firm proposal to rod my drain pipes (which I accepted) and completed the work in less-than two hours. I am completely satisfied!

We started to notice backup in the tub and kitchen sink when the washer was in the drain cycle. As well as hearing gurgling when flushing the toilet, so I called Betty said they had an opening before noon the same day so we made the appointment. R&P came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Very courteous and professional from the begin to end. We needed the pipes under the kitchen sink redone because they keep getting loose and causing problems there. Also the bathroom sink hasn't been draining and we believed one of the grandchildren dropped a small toy or something stuck way down in the pipe. We had tried ourselves but this was a job no result. Ryan keeping informed throughout the job he made several attempts to open the drain in the bathroom (almost 2 hours ) but was unsuccessful. He said this is a job for his co-worker Dave, who would come later. So Ryan secured the pipes under the kitchen sink and called for his coworker Dave. As expected Dave arrived and started rodding again and did not disappoint . The blockage has been removed. Daniel was completely professional while servicing us. He even put up plastic around the work site to make sure clean up was easier and the surrounding area was not soiled in any way while the job was being worked on. Great customer service! My call was answered quickly and a technician was sent out within a couple of hours. Ryan was polite and considerate of my property. This company offers an annual servicing at a discount price. Because I skipped the annual maintenance, it ended up costing me about $40 more a few months later. I have been using these guys for the past few years for rodding my 50 year old clay tile sewer line. Nicest guys come out to perform the work. I have tree root issues and an annual rodding of the line is the way to go for me. They have gone hi-tech and sent me an email with a photo of the service tech and all paperwork is done on a i pad. We are an older private school in the South Suburbs and with ageing pipes come problems. I have used Reid & Pederson for many years now and for good reason (I use them personally as well). Their response time is very good; quality of work is excellent and their work is truly guaranteed without any hassles along with far pricing. What makes them such a great company to work with are their employees, their friendly, very professional, and they have the necessary skills and experience to get the job done right. On our larger and more expensive projects that I've used them on they've communicated great throughout the entire job so we knew exactly what was going on all the way to the end. The most important thing is they don't come in and try to sell you something that is not necessary or something you don't need. Just a side note; Keep in mind that there're other companies out there that may be a little cheaper on their quotes but in many, many cases turn out to be far more expensive due to poor quality of work, BS guarantees or just simply over selling the scope of work after they start the job.
