My wife and I started experiencing problems with our sewer at the very end of 2015. They came out and inspected our drain system and came to the conclusion there might be a broken sewer line. They however wanted to come back out and try another method of clearing before settling on an expensive fix. They came out again and were able to fix everything by using a different access point. Through the whole process they were very respectful of our time and our home. They explained the process and thinking in terms that were clear and understandable. when I first called the company I spoke with John he is one of the owners. He was very personable and answered all my questions. I normally do all my own work. I made several attempts to clear this main drain and was unsuccessful. John sent out one of his technicians named Ryan. He was able to clear the drain without any incident and did a great job. I've been using Reid and Pederson for many years now. They are very professional and clean and rates are reasonable. I had to reschedule my last appointment when the tech couldn't open my access hatch to the sewer clean out due to ice and snow. This was handled with no problem and no cancellation fees. I had a clogged kitchen drain that I attempted to fix myself. I was unsuccessful and called Reid & Pederson at about 7:00 on a Monday night. They were at my house first thing Tuesday morning. Our kitchen drain completely stopped up 15 minutes before we welcomed 18 family members for a sit-down Christmas dinner. We tried lots of things to get the drain unclogged, but no success. That Monday Reid & Pederson came out, and in less than 1/2 hour, the dishwasher was humming. No fuss, and we as seniors received a nice discount on top of good and friendly service. I was very impressed with the service I received. I called on a Saturday and received a call back to schedule service within 15 minutes. They were willing to come out right away, but I scheduled for Monday afternoon. I received an email with a picture of the tech so I would know who to expect, and he arrived right on time. He was very thorough clearing our sewer drain and cleaned up completely afterwards. Price was less than what another company charged me 7 years ago. I would not hesitate to recommend them. I found this company via a web search and noted that they have many (if not all) positive reviews. We called on a holiday when the office was closed, but a very attentive and personable woman from their answering service assured me that she would pass on our info and our need to the folks in charge. "You'll get a call back today," she said. Sure enough, we did. John (I believe it was) listened, gave us options, and then made an appointment for us first thing next working day. The price was much better than other similar service we'd gotten from other comparable service companies, with a couple of discounts thrown in, too, making it a  no-brainer as far as trying them out. The morning of the service call, we got an email from R&P with a photo of the gentleman who would be coming to the house. When he arrived, he put on shoe coverings (so as not to dirty the floor), a large tarp on the floor in the area in which he'd be working, and newspaper around the area that might get splashed in the job. He was so polite, friendly, so patient, so thorough. I'm thankful we found Reid and Peterson. My brother and a retired plumber friend both recommended Reid & Pederson, both described them as being reasonable andhonest. We called for emergency service on a Saturday and had a service rep at our house within 2 hours. I went down to my basement to find two-thirds of it covered by an inch of water. It turns out our sump pump stopped working and so we called Reid and Pederson. We've used them before for clogged drains and other problems and always found their service to be top-notch. Ryan K. arrived before our appointment time and went to work. Within 90 minutes, he had replaced both of our faulty sump pumps and the water was drained from the basement. He was very efficient and courteous and kept us informed on our options. Called this morning for a problem with my upstairs bathroom toilet. They were able to have Jose A. (Service Pro) come out and repair the leak early in the afternoon. The price quoted was actually less due to a discount. My husband and I had just bought our house when I noticed after a heavy rain that we had a couple inches of water in our basement, underneath our family room. My boss recommended this business for us. Jose was very polite and professional. He came in and found out immediately that the drain needed to be rodded out. He was done very quickly, which was nice. He cleaned up and made sure that the drain was draining. My only reason for giving less than a 10 is I feel the price was a little high.
