I called to see, if by chance, I could have my sewer line rodded out today because I was off work with a sick toddler. They gave me an afternoon appointment. Ryan K. arrived within the time frame and remembered to park in back. He is very nice and I told him my 16 month old baby was asleep upstairs, if he could try to keep it low. I can't say enough good things about Reid and Pederson. We have used them for years and have never had a complaint. We are on their annual maintenance program and the men they send out are always very informative about what they are doing and any recommendations they may have for the future. Dan has been our service man for the past several years and he is extremely neat while working and goes above and beyond to even clean up after he's done! I called Reid & Pederson yesterday morning and they sent Daniel R. out to diagnose the problem yesterday afternoon. I was relieved that I did not have to wait and worry about the problem becoming more serious. He explained to me in simple terms what was going on with my sewer and possible solutions. I felt confident having REID & PEDERSON go ahead and fix the problem as Daniel told me that their work was guaranteed. I have used them before and my family had used them in the past. They seem to have very high standards. I also like the fact that the technician emails a picture before he arrives. I appreciate the added safety feature. Our yearly rodding was due, but because of a busy summer we had put it off, but Sandy, reminded us gently with a phone call and message. When John and Rico came over to look at two blocked window well drains, I felt like I was in good hands. They found a solution to the problem and came back again with their team to get them started, and Rico returned again to check the work. Kevin and the guys worked hard all day and did a great job. Kevin took time out to explain what they were doing. They left the work site clean and were careful when they came into the house to lay down tarps and wear shoe covers. I have used this company twice and I have to say, I wish other companies were as professional as this one. These guys have a quick turn around from the first phone call and are always on time if not early. They get the job done quick and they make sure its done right before they leave out the door. They cleaned up both times and even made sure not track mud and dirt on the floors. I could not have asked for a better experience. John from Reid returned my message with in 30 minutes and from there we were able to get scheduled for a technician to come out on the following Tuesday morning.
On Tuesday morning, Jose arrived to inspect our ejector pump. He informed us that the pump's motor had blown out. He informed us of the cost that would be associated with the replacing of the pump and was able to perform the service right there and then.

I have used Reid and Peterson for many years on my 4 rental properties that are located in villages with a lot of mature trees. They have completed basic rodding all the way up to installing clean out lines and they have always completed the work in a professional manner. I needed my drain lines rodded out and I was promised an appointment for just a few hours after I called. I was sent an email reminder and given a profile of the crew leader before the visit. The crew showed up an hour early. They were very nice about checking out the symptoms and did thorough tests before deciding the course of action. I talked to Sandy Friday afternoon and she had someone out to my rental property by 4:15 they were supposed to be there between 3:30 and 530. They were able to unblock the sink and rod out the pipes from the roof in Park Forest where the plumbing is notoriously always backing up especially after a lot of rain. This is not the first time I have used them I think it's my third time and they've always been timely and efficient and they offer a senior discount too. Reid & Pederson came to my rescue at the last minute. Upon arrival, the gentle men gave me a big smile and introduced themselves. Before entering my house, they covered their shoes.
They were very professional and provided additional resources for me. Additionally, after they finished, the gentlemen cleaned up.
