I've always been satisfied with Reid & Pederson and my last experience was no different. They show up on time carefully lay down paper and cloths to catch whatever crud they rod out. The cost is reasonable considering you won't see them again for a long while!
This time a leak occurred: I wasn't charged and was recommended to a good plumber, who found the faulty joint and fixed same in about 3 hours. He cleaned up after himself as well. He offered the name of a drywall man to repair the access hole he made in our hall.
I'll call Reid &Pederson again.

Couldn't ask for more. After calling in and leaving a message, I received a callback within 30 minutes. They provided a window of time between 10 and 2 during which they would arrive, they called shortly before arrival, and arrived at about 11. Dave and his assistant rodded out a 195' sewer line in about an hour, were friendly and the cost was exactly as quoted. Prompt, friendly and reasonable cost; what more could you want. I did business with Reid & Pederson 20 years ago & I was so impressed with the service I saved Dave's business card. When a toilet in my in my house needed rodding, I pulled his card & gave them a call. When I was told they could come out the same day I was pleasantly surprised. When I asked if Dave still worked for them, I was told he was the person they were sending. They arrived on time and did a very good job. OMG why didn't someone tell me about Reid & Penderson years ago? I have a 3 bedroom slab home built in the late 50's. my tub had been draining slower and slower for the past few years and I kept putting it off because other plumbing repairs over the years were expensive. Then it stopped draining completely. I had a plumber with 42 years experience come out and quote me $500.00 stating he had to cut away coper piping to access the tub trap and cut thru the cast iron cap and route out things. He also mentioned possibly having to cut a portion of the wall out to access things. This was all done thru a trap door in the closet. He got angry when I said I didn't think all that was necessary and began getting belligerent with me and was thrown out! I called Reid based on a recommendation and expected the worst. Imagine my suprise when Dave called ahead, arrived on time, wore foot coverings when walking on the plastic I put down on my new carpet. He routed the rub thru the front, it took about 15 minutes and he was done. Very professional, nothing to clean up and tub runs like a dream. I wont mention the cost as jobs vary but it was a fraction of the price the previous plumber quoted. I am beyond happy and wont hesitate to call them again if needed. Dave D. 01/12/18 |

I called this company that my neighbor referred me to, when my toilet wasn't flushing, on a Sat. afternoon.
John answered and said he could send a man out between 3 and 5. Jose got to my house around 4. He was really nice and respectful. He had our problem fixed and was gone in less than an hour.

Unusually quick response to my drainage issues. The team quickly diagnosed the issue and had to "belly" crawl in my interior crawl space, to the sewer line and cleaned up to 90 feet of sewer. The job was through, the same as was done a year ago, and we then planned a Spring 2018 installation of a "clean out" for easier access. We had DANIEL R. For our annual service. This is a senior aged household, so his thorough inspection was appreciated. DANIEL noted that there was leakage coming from the toilet above. He stated that he would be happy to correct the small issue of changing the wax ring under the toilet. He called in to his service manager, who told him he could not make this repair due to time constraints. I was very unsatisfied to learn that I would need to make an appointment with an additional plumber and incurr an additional service charge for this service. Isn’t that why customers are given a 4 hour window for appointments, just in case the service takes additional time?

I'm thrilled with the way this company treated me. They were very responsive, helpful, trustworthy and affordable. I hired them after another sewer company charged me a lot more money to rod my line. This is the second time I have used Reid and Pederson and they are the best. I called to schedule an appointment yesterday because I had two sinks that were backing up. They said they would be there within an hour and they were. I didn't even expect same day service. Jose A was my service man and I can't say enough about how professional, quick and clean he was. He explained everything in detail and made sure everything was working properly before he left. I like that you get a price for service upfront. I would use them for all my plumbing needs. I was very impressed with the promptness of my first call, and an answer within 30 minutes on a Sunday. I wanted to make an appointment for Monday to have our toilet unplugged. They gave me an appointment for Monday. They are exceptional with their skills at finding the exact problem and fixing it, plus cleaning up so that the restroom is immaculate.
