Steve and his trainee were excellent fixing our gas fireplace. I was so impressed at the way he explained the problem clearly to me and then again to my husband awhile later. The work was done quickly but well. While they were here I was texting a friend already recommending them to her for a furnace problem.

We initially used Pann because our previous homeowners had, and they were effective during a boiler mis-hap. (User error, entirely on our end.) We decided to try Pann out for boiler maintenance a year later, and I was really impressed. Our boiler hadn't been properly serviced for some time, so Peter K. came out and did a very thorough cleaning, replacing multiple parts and taking more than two hours. It of course wasn't cheap, but I feel like it was worth it. He spent a lot of time here, and explained every step in the process, so I also learned more about how the boiler works. The central dispatch office is also friendly and professional -- I had to call back with several questions and they always responded quickly and accurately. We're quite happy with Pann!

I recently needed to find an organization that could service our heating/cooling system, water heater as well as our gas fireplace. As it turned out the most difficult technician to find in MA is one certified to work on gas fireplaces. After calling three different organizations, I found Pann Home Services who sent out ***** to take care of our inoperable fireplace. He was prompt, professional and able to diagnose and fix the problem in short order. He also took the time to walk me through everything to insure there were no questions or potential issues. I highly recommend these folks - thank you!

Peter K today went way above & beyond by doing the work of 3 helpers all by himself, with a little help from me. We've used Pann at our South End condo for 10 years -- usually for annual preventative maintenance of our gas steam boiler that serves 10 units, but also for emergencies. The emergencies were replacement of both 75 gal water heaters in 2010, and last year, for about 5 visits of various different components that went kaput in the middle of that really bad Boston winter. Today, 11/24/15, Peter K came back to do 4 preventative maintenance things on the boiler, which he cited in his prior discovery visit 2 weeks ago. Today, he really went all out physically to remove & jostle & reinstall the 25 lb outdoor air duct that provides fresh makeup air for the gas burner combustion. Today was the coldest day so far this year in Boston, so although 1-2 helpers would've been ideal, he powered through the whole job himself - and with a great attitude. I guess his potential helpers who could've come along were busy elsewhere. It's awesome to have people in the service industry who sincerely enjoy their jobs. This also goes for Pann's great customer service staff when you phone them. THANK YOU EVERYONE! See you next fall !!!

I recently moved to Milton and both heating systems are acting up. I signed up with Pann Home Services as the prior owner also used them prior. I found Ryan to be extremely knowledgeable with both heating systems. Glad he did because I would be without heat on both occasions in middle of November...

We have used Pann many times. This time we had a crack and several bad parts on the sewer line. This was a scary operation because the old cast iron pipe had to be cut off, and it is possible to cause cracks up the line if not done carefully. We were very happy with the job Luis and his helper did. And they also did a good job of cleaning up.

Miscommunication led me to expect workman to arrive at an earlier time than was the case; he showed up as soon as the problem was made apparent. He diagnosed the problem to be greater than I had thought and offered a (likely) solution, to which I agreed. It will involve more time, effort and cost than one might wish. I have to assume that his diagnosis is correct and not an attempt to require more work than is necessary (a ploy used by other companies). On Wednesday when the work is to be done I can judge more accurately. Incidentally, your choice of ratings should include "not relevant," since "quality of work done" is not relevant in this case.

Although my repairman's visit had twice to be rescheduled, when he did arrive he did an excellent job of tuning up and cleaning my furnace, spotting problems and dealing with them in an efficient manner. The persons I dealt with on the phone were also very courteous and caring. PANN's prices are high, but so is the level of the work done. My only complaint is that when one is put on hold, the music and frequent announcements can drive you batty.

Quoted prices were ridiculously high--the dispatch fee is a sunk cost, and if we had any idea the prices would be so much higher than competitors, we never would have scheduled the appointment in the first place. There was no way to get even a preliminary estimate over the phone--I will definitely share my experience on Yelp and similar sites.

Professional, thorough, friendly. Twenty-six years ago, the original owner of our home used Pann Home Services to install two furnaces, and as the current owner, I couldn't be happier to be able to work with the same company all these years later. Our technician, Peter K., showed up on time, got right to work diagnosing our heating issue, and took ample time to discuss every possible option for servicing the heating equipment in my home, from repairing our old furnaces to replacing the entire heating system. He answered all of our questions clearly and listened carefully to our concerns.

It is the second time that I call Pann Home Services for a plumbing issue. And I have always been extremely satisfied. First, they commit to a time and are extremely punctual. They seem to also be pretty easy to reach, since I didn't have to wait for more than a day and half for my A/C, in the heart of the summer. During their first visit, they tell you what happened and give a quote, which won't change no matter what happens next. I called another company before, for a problem with my A/C, and ended up with a new thermostat, while the A/C was not fixed. With Pan Home, this thing would not happen: they also guaranty their work, which is much appreciated. On top of it, they are all extremely competent, friendly and respectful of the place, making sure they don't leave a mess behind. I would just recommend to get their "VIP package", which is $200 a year, but waves the first visit and gives you a 15% discount on the work. It sounds a bit expensive, but I found it a good deal at the end. Bottom line is: I strongly recommend this company for all A/C and plumbing issues. Thomas

I asked if somebody can help me over the phone because I believed that it should not be a big deal, and the lady insisted on sending a technician. When the technician came, it just took him a minute to turn the tank on. I think it is really outrageous to charge me 69.95 dollars for which the problem could be definitely solved if I could consult a technician over the phone! And the 5-year labor service for the tank should expire in October.

Scott arrived at my home today from Pann to fix my 2 leaking faucet's. Scott and Andrew diagnosed the situation, showed me the alternatives, and then went about their tasks very professionally. They not only had to contend with the situation inside my home, but because my street was torn up due to all the water/sewer construction going on in my neighborhood, they couldn't come into my driveway and had to walk back and forth to their truck. They were great about it! Service above and beyond the call of duty is what I call it.

I had a fantastic experience with Pann Home Services from my initial call. Renee was extremely pleasant and most helpful in scheduling my appointment. Excellent first impression of the company. I received a confirmation call 30 minutes before the service which I was told I would receive and Scott V and Mike S arrived 30 minutes later. Very polite and professional technicians, put slippers on before entering my apartment for cleanliness. Worked with Scott directly and he gave me thoughts and advise on how to move forward with my repair. He did not try to sell me which I appreciated - Scott took the time to help me understand what I needed. Great team on all ends and I would highly recommend Pann Home Services.
