The entire team was polite and responded promptly to my request. ***** the technician, even got to my property early, and he was able to quickly analyze the problem and give potential solutions. *** & **** installed a ductless mini split in our condo – both were extremely courteous, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our hardware and experience. Both men explained what was happening during install and ensured everything met our expectations. *** also went out of his way to fulfill a special request made by my 9 year old daughter (one of the a/c heads was installed in her room and she had a vision for what she wanted) – the end result was spot on and she’s thrilled. I've used Pann for probably more than 20 years. They always come when they say they will and do a great job, always professional and correctly done. Today I had a new toilet installed and the technician Rich explained all my options and choices, and then worked to install it fast enough that I could still go to work. Jon and Brandon from Pann Home Services installed crown moulding in our living room and I must say it looks great. Service tech arrived on time. He put shoe covers on before entering my home. Work area was kept clean during work and after clean up. All service recommendations were clearly explained. After service was completed tech reviewed the work that was done and why. He also offered recommendations to keep my heating system running efficiently. Jon D has come twice to our house in Cambridge this past week. The first time it was to replace light bulbs in ceiling fixtures that we couldn't reach. My wife and I are both seniors. The second time it was to repair a broken lock on our back door. Our house was built in the 1890s. We bought it 22 years ago and have called on Pann whenever anything needed to be fixed. Like all Pann people, Jon was respectful, friendly, and competent, but he had something besides, a good natured sense of humor and an appreciation of our home. I found Pann Home Services through a ****** search. It is always nice to find nice, professional technicians to enter your home. From the first phone call, to the follow up reminder the day before the appointment, everyone was extremely courteous and very professional. I told ***** and **** that it is a nice sign when they take the time to put booties on their shoes to ensure your home is kept clean. They had their own blankets and proceeded in a very concise manner to account for the cause of our problem with our gas fireplace. They replaced our generator which was old and cleaned the fireplace checking for all functioning parts that may cause other problems. Pann Home Services repaired a water heater that they had installed for me almost four years ago. The repairman Pete was a very professional and smart technician who completed the work in a timely manner even though it was a complicated repair of a Geospring hybrid energy saving unit. Even though I had balked at an earlier price estimate they recognized the error and did the repair at a reasonable price. Scheduling and reminders were also easy and convenient. The service tech, ****, was very professional and knowledgeable. He was considerate of our home and property. **** explained what needed to be done to resolve our heating problem and explained the cost involved. The work was completed in a timely manner. When the work was completed **** explained what had been done and again went over the invoice with me to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. I was impressed with ****' expertise of my heating system and his recommendations for keeping it running efficiently and worry free. I have used Pann for years. They are a little high on prices but worth it because they are so clean. Recently, however. I had a very bad experience with them. I had called to have four smoke detectors replaced.Somehow the order was put in as change the batteries. The person who came was great and changed the batteries and was done in 15 minutes. I had assumed the smoke detectors were being replaced and agreed to a price of 300.00. It was not until the serviceperson left and I read the repair sheet that I realized it did indeed say replace batteries. A couple of phone calls took care of it and the bill was adjusted but it took a couple of phone calls and a bit of arguing on my part to get it straightened out.
I am not that aggressive a person so it was sort of hard to make the second call when I did not get a call back.
I have had a bad feeling about this ever since.
It bothered me that someone would actually write up a bill to change four smoke detector batteries and put down 300.00 as the charge in the first place.
Someone should have caught that or, at least, not have put a customer in the position of almost having to beg to have it corrected. 03/18/16 |

I recently started using Pann Home Services and the interaction with the service technicians and the office staff have been positive. They care about the customer and offer excellent customer service. We've used Pann again, and are still happy with the results, so for us they've been very consistent. We had another great technician, Scott, who was very friendly and took the time to explain what he was doing, and even recommend books and other resources so we could learn more about our heating system. In addition, I decided last-minute to add on some additional service and Pann and Scott were able to come back and do the additional work the same day! Which I totally wasn't expecting but very much appreciated, since it meant I didn't have to take additional time off work. Scott V. came on time today to fix leaks on two different sinks and replace my kitchen faucet. He was very kind and professional. He took his time to evaluate my situation and only did the work I needed. He gave me great advice and didn't push for the most expensive option. I appreciated his attention to detail and testing and re-testing his work to make sure it was perfect. PANN is lucky to have this guy working for them. I have had Pann Home Services & Remodeling as my home furnace service provider for many years. They are always on time for appointments, and a lot of the time they can come earlier than the original appointment time. They explain everything they are doing, and are extrememly consciencous about cleaning up after their work.

This is my first time dealing with this company. The receptionist was very pleasant and explained to me how they work. I was given a same day, afternoon appointment which I really appreciated. **** showed up to do the job. He is very pleasant and knowledgeable. However, **** and **** finally arrived, reviewed the situation, offered us advice about a new toilet, left to pick it up after 4, arrived back just after 5 and replaced it efficiently. I was impressed by their friendly and professional manner, their effort to be careful in our house, the way that they cleaned up after the work was completed. The entire project was done by 6 PM.
