One phone call will do it. I was recommended to Pann Home Services by a friend of mine, when I first bought my house. I'm glad I got aligned with them, because the are a full service organization. They do everything for me--plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, you name it. I have totally entrusted my house to them on all levels. It's nice, because I don't have to pull people from a dozen different companies. I can make one phone call, and that's it. Everyone who works at Pann, from the administration to the staff, is very nice and professional. All the guys that come to do work here are great. They arrive with friendly, clean and upbeat attitudes. They are good, hardworking guys that seem to be happy doing their jobs. And they are always polite. They do little things like ask to use the bathroom, that make you feel like they aren't taking over your house. The only thing I wish was different about Pann--and I've talked to Mike about this--is the cost. But he has a business to run, and has to pay his people, so I can understand. Good customer service. I have a service contract with Pann Home Services, so I'm not sure about how the experience is for somebody without one, but what I can say from my experience is that they provide good customer service. They are a little bit pricey, and that would be my only criticism, however I think that their customer service has been good in general. House R. 07/28/11 |

They are outstanding people, and I look forward to working them again. I've been here 44 years, and I wouldn't recommend anybody but Pann Home Services. They're phenomenal! They functioned as a team, which was terribly important to us, as we had a lot of work done on the house after terrible, terrible winter we had. Mr. Pann put together a collaborative team that I have not found anywhere else. The carpenters, plumbers, and electricians all worked together, with one or two apprentices being taught through it all. It kind of reminded me of the olden days with family owned business where people really cared, did very skilled work, and took pride in their work. I can only highly recommend them. Pann Home Services provides excellent service and is highly knowledgeable. I've been using Pann Home Services for over twenty years. I think their plumbing and electrical work is really good. They come when they say they will, and if they'll be late they will call you and let you know. I do think their services are excellent, but watch out, they're pricey! Pann is remain #1 for us, an incredible experience with top notch professionals 24/7. During a catastropic 2011 winter Pann's team of skilled, highly knowledgeable and friendly professionals worked (nearly) 24/7 for over 2 1/2 months to rescue our home. [It is still a work in progress.] From heavy ice dams on a sloped roof and deep snow in the yard (piled higher than anywhere else in our area,) total damage was enormous:to gutters and downspouts, furnace (died and could not be repaired), leaving us without heat, to water seeping into a used finished basement...and more. Pann's team collaborated to remodel and restore: 1st-rate plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters worked tirelessly to "fix" and solve problems. We now have: an efficient Hi-Tech Pioneer Advanced heating and Hot Water system, heavy duty sump pumps, new hardwood gutters and downspouts, improved attic insulation, and stop gap measures to prevent water from damaging our basement. Quality work at every step. More major work is still needed to ensure proper drainage, and this too will be done by Pann. We are grateful to all, incl. Pann Home Services is fast and efficient. When I called Pann Home Services on the telephone, the woman took down the information quickly and efficiently. They got back to me quickly. They were able to come out and do a diagnosis in a day or so, it was fast. The news was not good. The job was going to be an expensive one, as I recall the water heater was going to need to be replaced. I thought that the accounting of why it was going to need replacing and how they were going to go about doing it was very clear. We went ahead with Pann and the job was quick and professional and everything has held up very well so far and we've been pleased with the results. House R. 04/05/11 |

Absolutely perfect! I've had some problems in the past, but for the last couple of years, Pann Home Service has just done an absolutely perfect job. I would say that they are not very cheap, but in terms of quality they are just perfect. I like the fact that they guarantee the performance of whatever they do. They give a lifetime warranty, which I surely appreciate. If something breaks, they will do it for free, but I've never experienced that because so far everything works! House R. 03/14/11 |

They do excellent work. Pann Home Services has rebuilt a set of outdoor stairs for me, fixed a major plumbing problem with my toilet that even involved the insurance company, rebuilt the parts that were damaged, put new lights in for me in the sink section of the kitchen, and refinished some of my floors. There are two things about them, one is good and one is not so good. The good thing is that whenever you call for help, you get help immediately. If you want the price for a job, they will come out, give you the price, and follow it up with the job if you want. The not so good thing is that they are pretty expensive. When they did the light for my sink I thought it was a lot of money. Don't get me wrong, they did an excellent job, but it was high priced. However, I take the good with the bad, and I am not dissatisfied. The quality of work really is perfect. It couldn't be better. Their service is the best. I have been a subscriber for their services for at least 5 years, and each encounter I have with Pann Home Services has been excellent. They have very well trained staff. It is obvious that when they send a person out on a call they are confident he can handle it. They have done all kinds of work for me including air conditioning, pluming, and carpentry. Professional company with high standards. Pann Home Services is very professional. I think it comes from the top. I have talked to and met Mr. Michael Pann, and he really cares about his customers. He wants to do the best job they can regardless of the cost involved. They give me an estimate, and they have to go by that unless I add more work. This is the kind of company I want to work with because they have high standards. I don't have to go after them and see if they are doing a good job because they themselves want to do a good job. They also have very nice infrastructure. During working hours there is always someone to answer my phone call and answer any questions I have. I can get a hold of them by phone. They can afford that infrastructure because they are a little larger. I used to rely on them for small things in plumbing, electric, and HVAC. Most recently they have been doing a big job for me. It is small area but it includes everything, plumbing, electric, HVAC, and carpentry. They are moving a bathroom for me, which is a major job for plumbing. They did encounter a frustration, but they were able to overcome it. Pann Home Services has expertise in every area, which is difficult to find. Most companies have expertise in one area, and then they have subcontractors. Pann Home Services has in house electricians, carpenters, plumbers, and HVAC technicians. It is a big advantage. Professional, well-trained staff. I have been very satisfied with Pann Home Services. They have done quite a bit of work for me over the last 5 years, from plumbing to electrical to carpentry. I initially started using them because I was not satisfied with my contractor. Unlike a lot of contractors, Pann Home Services' technicians show up when they promise, which is very important. Great Job, Great Experience Pann Home Services did a terrific job for us. We had some water damage caused by our condo neighbors and Pann came out and fixed everything. We had damage both to our kitchen ceiling and hardwood flooring. The patch job was flawless, painting impeccable and the floors look like a brand new house. Excellent Service I started with Pann Home Services when my home water heater was not working. I met with Mike S. and his apprentice technician. I was very impressed with their professionalism and thoroughness. They took the time to explain what they were checking and why, and to show me the issues they found, and explain why, in terms that were easy to understand. From the call before they arrived letting me know they were soon to arrive, their putting on shoe covers just before they entered my home, to the handshake they each extended as they left, it was easy to tell that these men cared about what they were doing. Before they'd arrived, I wasn't expecting to make a commitment to your monthly plan until I shopped around a bit more. Before the time they were done, I knew I didn't need to shop around any more, and was happy to enroll in your monthly protection plan. I look forward to being a satisfied client for years to come. I've subsequently had Pann Home Services perform additional work at my home, and the quality of work is excellent. They provide premium service. I have compared pricing for some of the services they provide. Even on their monthly plan, the prices are a bit higher than I expected, however, but the peace of mind received by having Pann staff at the ready has made it worth the premium paid. Absolutely delightful to work with. I have been so happy to have Pann Home Services. All of the individual workers are great, always pleasant to talk to and nice to have around. We have used them for a variety of projects and maintenance work because, when we moved into the house, it was in relatively bad shape. They have repaired 2 water breaks, re-plastered 2 entire ceilings, and installed a new heating system. They are clean and meticulous. They leave the house cleaner than it was when they found it. Quality work. Reliable and responsive, always follow up. What attracted us to Pann Home Services was that they do everything, from carpentry to plumbing to electrical work. We started using them because we found that it was too difficult to get individual technicians to call back or come out immediately. With Pann, they respond right away. You do not have to wait 5 days. They have helped us through a couple of emergencies: When our top deck door imploded, they came the same morning it happened and fixed it. In 10 years or so, I have never had a bad experience with them. In fact, they are the only people I use now because they do excellent work. We have had them do a ton of things for us, from siding on our house to multiple electrical projects to carpentry. This summer, we had a major amount of work done, including a new front door. The work they do is always first-rate. They do not leave a job half-done and they always back up the work they do if there is an issue. For example, when we had a toilet problem, they came right back to fix it for no charge. They also are wonderful people you can trust, the kind of people you do not mind giving a key to your house. We would recommend Pann Home Services because they respond right away and do a quality job -- those things are very important to us. I always tell them: You are keeping our house glued together. Highly professional, dependable service. We have been using Pann Home Services for many years. They are very professional on all levels and good at whatever you need, from heating services to painting to woodworking. They understand the technology behind things like the brand-new heating system that they installed for us. They were able to explain everything to us and tell us what the alternatives were so that we understood all of our options. I appreciate that they give us repair updates to let us know where a project stands. Because of the size of their team, they can keep things moving so that the work gets done in a timely manner. They also are respectful of the fact that they are coming into your home. They leave everything as clean as possible, even if they are coming back the next day to finish something. Outstanding, first-rate company. I first started using Pann Home Services several years ago when I had to have some electrical work done. I saw their large ad in the Yellow Pages and noticed that they were a family business in Cambridge. Given their longevity, I thought that they must be a good company, and they were. I have used them 6 or 7 times now for everything from painting to installing a water heater to carpentry. They are a nice group of guys to work with and they will immediately correct any glitch without charge or dispute. I also have recommended Pann Home Services to many other people. Excellent performance but rather expensive when compared to other companies I have used Pann's services for decades, first to purchase and install hot water tanks, then for all my plumbing services. Their technicians arrive in clean clothes, use shoe mitts, and are pleasant to work with. Most of the time, they are able to accurately diagnose the problem and to correct it. To their credit, if a residual problem exists or manifests at a later date, they are fully cooperative, both in making corrective efforts and in price adjustments. I continue to utilize them on a regular basis because their technicians are well-trained and the company dependable. Pann is inordinately expensive, though, for some of their services, particularly the non-plumbing variety. However, I've elected to be on their "Peace of Mind" plan which is a pre-paid monthly service contract offering better terms and discounts. House R. 03/17/10 |

The services that they provide in this area are very good and insure that my cool and heating equipment working properly and at peck efficiency.
