I have always found the Mission Plumbing crew to be honest, courteous, helpful and considerate. They take pains not to make or leave a mess in the house, and they are very patient in explaining things to me. I am on contract with them to check my furnace in fall and AC in spring, which gives me peace of mind. That also meant that they responded quickly to my emergency call last fall when I had a failed sump pump and flooded basement. We called Mission PHC for an estimate on a heater/AC combo package, since our heater was probably about 30 years old and our AC was completely broken and an underrated size for our house. Craig came out exactly on schedule and looked at our situation in depth. Craig listened to our initial complaint that air was not getting through all the vents. He looked at our ductwork and showed us how inefficient the 20 year old ductwork was. For not much more, Craig was able to get us set up with brand new ductwork. Mission PHC was able to quote a larger AC unit for thousands less than the competitors. He wasn’t trying to sell a “package” or do any upselling, and just told us what he thought we needed for our situation. Craig helped me get situated with financing, and the installation crew came out shortly after that. The crew, like Craig, came out right on schedule and were super nice and extremely professional. I was prepared for a day of stress, but Steve and Ray worked efficiently all day and there were literally zero problems. We got an explanation on how to use the new thermostat, and then they of course tested the heater and AC before they left. The best part was the dollar amount we paid for was the exact dollar amount Craig quoted when he did the estimate. The area in which they worked was clean and there were no pieces of old junk or scrap laying around in the yard after they left. The AC unit itself looks very nice and is situation on a new pad on some fresh, white gravel. Normally I hate getting stuff on the house worked on, but Mission PHC made it extreme straightforward – no “mind games” so to speak. Mike J came out to thoroughly check out my new HVAC system that I got back in December. I was told it’s ready for a hot summer. I was very pleased with his professionalism and with how knowledgeable he was. It reinforced the fact of how happy I am I went with Mission Plumbing Heating & Cooling. Mike came out to do my air conditioner "start up" check after I got a new furnace & A/C in January. He was GREAT . . . very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, and explained everything he was doing. He also checked out a slight noise my furnace made when it shut down after a heating cycle . . . and knew exactly where to look and how to correct the issue, and again, explained everything.
