We've used McFarlane for our oil since we bought our house 4 years ago. I was drawn to their "no gimmick" approach with pricing. They are always pleasant, and their service has been consistent and highly responsive over the years.

**** ***** was excellent - helpful, kind, knowledgeable. I honestly doubted a recommendation he made for our oil furnace to improve its performance, and I was very wrong. found and fixed the problem from your faulty installation of the new tank, hopefully st your expense. did not check if the tank installation had also been hooked up to the generator properly. It had not been and I had to have the generator service people out to fix it at a cost of $150. you had turned off the flow to install the new tank and had not turned it back on

This is a tale of two services. The service worker did a fine job, as workers from this company have always. Professional and neat. I gave him a key to be able to complete the work - replacing a hot water heater. Overall the work went fine. However, it took two phone calls, a week apart to get MacFarlane to finally pick up the old water heater from my driveway, two weeks later. I kept asking for the key back at each phone call and I have not yet received it. If I don't get satisfaction on the next call, I may have to explain to MacFarlane that I need to rekey the door and send them the bill. They have been uncharacteristically non responsive on this, but I now need to make at least one more phone call.

recently our motor for boiler broke down at 10pm, and it was a cold, no hot water or heat. I call for service and within half an hour service guy got to my house look at it and find out that the motor was broken, he has no spare in his truck then make a couple call, surely he got a hold with another truck. He went out for 15 to 20 munutes, came back and fixed it. At first I thought he gonna say sorry have to come back tomorrow, but no same nite service. I cant ask for more and that what I call a great service, never the customer out cold. Thank you.

No one really was listening to the issue and so they told someone in the area to look at the problem. It was something he admitted he knew nothing about. I also had no idea when he was coming, he just showed up. He was very nice but said he'd let them know when he got back what the issue was. I never heard anything. Now that I've called Scott McFarlane, things will be taken care of. I would still recomend them.

What could of been a very stressful experience was not the case at all. I was very well taken care of when my oil tank leaked and had to be replaced. MacFarlane Energy kept me fully informed and was very efficient and professional at replacing the tank. I would like to take this opportunity to say how pleased I am with my annual service which is always very thorough.

Although I have been quite pleased with your servicemen and office staff, I have not been at all happy with your "insulation" department. After 2 phone calls ( I initiated both) your rep, Mr. Denham, came (On time as promised)to evaluate for Mitsubishi/ Fujitsu heat pump/exchange system. After promising me a follow up estimate (after 2 calls from me) one never arrived. You can be sure I will look elsewhere if I decide to install for some other company.

We have been customers for 20+ years and the last round of service was the worst. Everyone was pleasant, but our regular service maintenance visit resulted in a flooded basement casuing hundreds of dollars of damage and three follow-up visits from your technicians. But for our long history and generally good service over that period we would have changed providers. I don't believe you will want to use my comments for promotional materials. I recently had MacFarlane Energy install a new HVAC system in my home which included heat pumps. The AC install was great, their guys were clean and respectful of my home and cleaned up each day. The worked great all summer and I even saw a decrease in my electric bill compared to last summer. I look forward to seeing how the heat pumps work this winter. Highly recommended.
