I was very pleased with the service of Lake Cook Plumbing. I originnaly spoke to Kim at dispatch. She was extremely pleasant and most interested in helping me with service. The service call was scheduled for 9/25. Kim called and said they were running late on an emergency call and would be out late 9/26. I had an emergency at home and called to change to 9/29,AM. Mike E called that morning at 7:40 to tell me he is on the way and arrived at 8:00 sharp. He diagonsed the problem and fixed the toilet. He too was cheerful, polite and very professional. He put "bootys" on when he entered the house. After the repair, he reviewed everything with me, leaving brochures and programs the company offers.......HATS OFF TO KIM AND MIKE(TECH). I know Keith was wearing Greg's shirt but, I have to say he was awesome in explaining what he was doing as he did it, great with my kids and incredibly polite. This review is actually for Keith R. I had a blocked sink and Keith came out. Unfortunately it turned out that the people who installed our new kitchen a few years back took major short cuts. Keith explained everything he saw and gave me multiple options. Basically on the original installation the "professionals" had cracked the pipes and instead of fixing it had put silicon all around it. Keith had me back up and running in a few hours. For over a year, my kitchen faucet has leaked. I tried to have both cartridges and a tube inside the vegetable spray replaced. My faucet does not drip at all after your repair.

Given some financial constraints, he helped us to understand which work needed to be completed now, which items could wait a little and the ideal set-up which would include a battery back-up system. He did not put any sales pressure on us which we really appreciated as well. We liked the service so much that we also agreed to a service plan and will definitely use his services and this company again and again for our plumbing needs. 09/13/14 |

He walked us through what our options were for repair & provided us costs with each; he ordered the part & the office quickly notified us & scheduled the subsequent repair visit to meet our schedule. We called Lake Cook Plumbing to help with a hot water pressure issue. They immediately set up time for a service rep to come out. Phillip showed up on time, even a few minutes early and was the ultimate professional. I had three small children in the house while he looked at the issue and he did not seem bothered by them at all. Upon assessing the water tank he presenting me with a variety of options to fit our budget. My children were very interested in what he was doing and he was patient and kind to them while he thoroughly explained the issue and how best to resolve. He even gave the kids a coloring book and tape measure to keep them entertained while we spoke. He completed the work right away and left no mess behind. I had an emergency the night after a rain storm and my sump pump was doing its firehose imitation in the basement. At 6:30 in the morning, I didn't think I could get anyone to respond. I found Lake Cook Plumbing adn talked to the most courteous girl I've ever talked to in a business. She confirmed address, phone, situation. when Philip arrived, he immediately got to work and solved the problem and offered advice as to future problems. Very thorough inh explaining repair and equipment in addition to SHOWING me the finished work. Phillip came to fix my water line to the refrigerator problem. It was leaking in the wall and getting the basement wet. I called, and within an hour, he was here. The person who answered the phone was very nice and courteous. She had said that the service man would arrive between 10-12:00. Phillip arrived at 11:15 and was just as nice and courteous!! He looked young to me so I was a little worried about his experience but he explained what needed to be done and got right to work. He did an awesome job!! I was very happy with how friendly Phillip was too. I felt the total price was a little too high for the job but the job was done in about an hour. And Phillip was neat and cleaned up after himself. My first experience with Lake Cook Plumbing was extremely positive. I liked that the estimate was provided right up front and I knew that was what the job would cost no matter how long it took. After using another plumber who could not fix our gas line issue, Phillip was able to resolve the matter in just a couple of hours. He even noticed our water spigot was improperly mounted and fixed that just because he could. He was very professional, courteous and explained everything in terms I could understand without talking down to me. I will definitely use and recommend Lake Cook Plumbing again.
